Friday Music Fred - The Boys of '67 on 09:58 - Mar 10 by terryb
I'm a thickie & don't know how to download & post as the tracks above.
Anyway, I throw in Groovin by the Young Rascals. I never understiood how it wasn't banned by the BBC for the following line.
"You & me LSD, living in ecstasy"
It was only recently that I realised the LSD was endlessly!
Find the vid you want on YouTube and start it playing. Click on the address bar to highlight the vid's address, then hit two keys simultaneously Ctrl and C.
Then go to your LFW text box with the cursor flashing and hit Ctrl and V. The vid's address should now be there.
If you're not sure it's worked, click on the button underneath labelled 'Preview Post'. The box underneath 'Show/hide smileys' will now display what will appear on LFW after you click on 'Add reply'.
Apparently Steve Winwood's brother, Muff (!), one of the three original members of the group came up with the name because Davis was the only one interested in doing interviews.
The vid doesn't feature the sing-song line at the centre of the record. It sounded something like "never any other way". But if you disconnected your turntable drive and spun the plattern backwards (yes, this is where all that 'backwards' shit started}, it sounded like "superman's a fa-ucking haggis"!
