Update on this is 'just' 3 small fractures in back and concussion. Nothing with lungs etc.
Watching this live, I genuinely thought she was dead or had broken her back. Sickening and so glad she is OK - she looked like a rag doll on the side of the road. It was awful waiting for news as a normal spectator - God knows what that was like for her family and friends. Chris Boardman looked white as a sheet at the end.

We were genuinely upset waiting for the news - it was awful. It was the camera on the bike or car panning back and her just not moving - it looked dreadful. And still hadn't moved when the others came past her.

And her head can't have hit the kerb at 40mph otherwise she'd be dead.
