Player of the Month for September Wednesday, 29th Sep 2010 20:00 by Col
The voting is now open for the Dale Trust Player of the Month, sponsored by RochdaleAFC.com
You need to be quick off the mark to get your vote in for this month's award, as closing is in just 5 days time. As always, we are inviting you to nominate which player you think was our best player throughout September - a highly successful month for the club.
There are two ways of voting - you can either email your nominated player to info@daletrust.org.uk or you can visit the Trust website by clicking here.
Voting is open to all Dale supporters, but one Trust member will be drawn at random from the votes to present the award to the winning player after the Yeovil home game.
The closing date for votes is Monday 4th October.

Bob's got my vote, the two wins over Saints and Hudds have been based on outstanding play by our whole defence but he has stood out for me in these two games just above the rest.

Of the games I've seen - only 1 at home but all others - this award will be just desserts for whoever wins it 'cos the serious contenders have all been magnificent!! My vote goes to BBM as I'm sure without his nouse neither Jonah or JK would be getting us the goals from midfield.

In a month where everyone seems to have contributed, it is still hard to see beyond Jonah. He is the driving force behind all the team does, and an inspiration on the pitch. I think his match-by-match contribution is exceptional. Well done Gary, you get my vote.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Newcastle United Polls |
