Kevin Gillett, now retired, who was Director of Banking at Lloyd's HBOS wrote on social media recently.
'In 2009 Rachel Reeves was 3 levels below me.
She was a Complaints Support Manager NOT an Economist.
She nearly got sacked due to an expenses scandal when Managers were found to have been signing off each others expenses.
She then had lots of doctor and dental appointments and so was followed.
It turned out she was doing Labour Party business.
When confronted, she resigned'.
Mr Gillett asked for this to be shared with as many people as possible.

I watched a game last night Boro v Sunderland . I was very impressed with the new Sunderland loan signing Enzo le Fee . This guy could have a big impact on Sunderland in the autos. Shame we can't attract talent like that anymore.

He had come to the notice of prevent before the fatal attack . He had attacked pupils previously with a hockey stick . How the hell can that be deemed handled correctly . He had a history of violence and was a ticking timebomb . As for Reeves no one in their right minds is going to listen to her. A previous work colleague is on record as saying she was a customer complaints clerk for the same bank . She was always absent so they had her followed and found out she was doing labour party business instead of being off sick or at the dentists as she claimed . So they got rid . She has no business acumen or experience and no economics qualifications .

I've got no faith whatsoever in the present government - Reeves just jetted off to Davos what for ? hasn't she got enough issues to solve here ? what's Davos got to do with the average man in the street? She should be here sorting out the mess not galivanting abroad .
The grooming gangs saga is looming larger as more revelations unfold by the day. The Rudakabana episode - another sorry mess involving the cabinet - Cooper and Starmer asleep at the wheel .

It's truly shocking . Society is getting worse without doubt especially large cities. In other news dad wakes up to find burglar pointing gun at his face in break in car jacking. Man dies after beating while waiting for a bus . Shots fired in Birmingham street . Attempted murder in Smallheath . You get the feeling crime is out of control - click on Birmingham live you would be amazed what's going on .
