He may be on the verge of something bigger than he's achieved before. I hope not because he's a dangerous clown but UK politics is in such a sad state it feels like a lot of people might do something different.

The report I saw said two police were attacked, a civilian tried to help them and got killed.
I'm puzzled why a knifeman could do this when French police carry guns.
Still, it's been labelled a terrorist attack because he allegedly said "Allahu Akbar" during his attack.

Not to defend the OP because I think he's a fruitloop but I just don't see it and without knowing what he edited out it's even harder to judge.
If what was posted was that bad why didn't the mods remove the thread? |

I've consistely criticised Grimes BUT not because I think he's a poor player. I think he was overly negative, prone to dropping too deep and creating problems in our own defence but it wasn't all his fault.
I blame the managers too, too long with Martin and then Williams, this idea that possession is king, is more important than all else. I think Southampton going up had some people believeing in Martin again, until this season when the Saints threaten to have the worst ever season.
Williams was cut of the same cloth and has us being boring and poor in attack. By this time Grimes had been here too long as was stale, in my opinion. We needed to move Grimes on, to refresh the midfield. Grimes being sold really was the best thing for him and for Swansea.
People think I hate Grimes, I don't. I don't hate anybody who has or still does play for us.I can have an opinion about how good or bad they are, it doesn't mean there's hate.
Every player has a time at a club and sometimes they outstay that time, I think Grimes is one of those.
What we saw today was a retun of fun. The Swans hasn't been fun for ages. It was today and long may it last. |

I'm giving them all a 10, including Sheehan.
It can't have been so easy for Sheehan to lift them, to get them firing like that after the last 2 months.
From the first whistle evrything was better. We wanted it today and the smiles on the players faces at the end was worth 1000 words.
Vipotnik was better, Ronald was better, Franco and O'Brien were massive. We could easily have had 5 today against a deent Blackburn side that we made look poor. Lets hope this is just a syart and not a one off. I live in hope again instead of in resignation.
For the first time in ages I got properly excited, up out of my seat cheering which scared the wife and dogs.

He's possibly a nice bloke he's just a rubbish manager/coach.
Sheehan showed straight away what a competent coach can do, he clearly has the players respect and that at the end, when he did the fist pumps but then he called to the players and got Franco invovled, it's a clear "we're in it together" moment. He's not a coach who's throwing players under the bus.
Williams should have gone weeks ago. We're there now though and today was immensely enjoyable. Proper football. |

Away games for us again too now. I won't have to worry about the timing belt either!
Yes, today really shows how poor Williams was, such a tirnaround in a short space of time. They looked a different team and maybe now we can look up the table. Not at the play offs but a decent finish hopefully.
We're only 11 points off 6th though, what may have happened if we'd pulled the trigger on Williams straight after West Brom? Sheehan in charge and maybe a couple more wins? |

Of course he had and it happened a long while back. Complaints about training, poor team selection and tactics and I think that's even before the WBA nonsense.
Williams can be a nice bloke but he's a shit coach. Welook a different team already. Positive, confident, attacking and 3 goals which could easily have been 5.
I hope this isn't the last Swallow we see this summer. |

Much much better today and we should be at least 3 up. Vipotnik looks much better. O'Brien replacing Grimes is a breath of fresh air, a midfielder who knows how to drive forward, who is ambitious and not scared to attack.
This just goes to show that Williams was a poor coach and Grimes (yes it's only one match) was part of the problem because the squad is arguably weaker now than it was before the transfer window.
Some salient stats so far, on 56 minutes,
We've had 46% possession but 9 shots with 3 on target and 3 blocked. We've made 237 passes at 72% success against 279 and 78%.
So, less possession, fewer passes but more shots and winning 2 nil. It just shows, doesn't it, that it's what you do with possession that matters and not how much possession you have. |

Reeves though, she has lied to everyone. Her CV is fake, she wasn't what she claimed and didn't even work there as long as claimed.
Starmer said he'd restore trust and so far that is a fail.
The previous government is, well, the previous government. Lets criticse Labour for what Labour do, not defend them because of the tories. We need a good job now not more whataboutery. |

I think he would and both of them would have said to him, yes, when the war is over.
Lets face it, if people queued up at polling stations the Russians would take full advantage of that and bomb the hell out of them.
Only a complete tool would think you can have free and fair elections in Ukraine as it stands. |

I think it's fuss about nothing. Nobody claims sexism when "Tony Bliar" was used but that is his name and a blatant accusation of dishonesty.
