Not too long ago I found this cheeky and delightful song. I can't remember if it was posted on here or not, but it seems to have grown with some popularity, I believe he played in the flying horse and is campaigning with "I love Rochdale".
Now although I don't take that campaign with much or any seriousness, I did however think that if we could get enough of us to know the chorus for an away day, then it would be quite a good laugh!
So I remember we started a rumours and facts post and it turned into a bit of a joke/parody. And I thought it would be fun again to give it another go.
So, I'll begin.
George Donnelly has collected 27 coke bottles with his name on.
"Former Manchester City , Millwall and Rochdale player Ashley Grimes has signed a two year deal with the Shakers.
Ashley had other offers to consider but after meeting with the manager decided to commit to the new regime here at Gigg lane.
Another quality player commits to the exciting times ahead."
What Bury think: "He's interested in sharing our vision for the future!" What Grimes thought: "That's a good wage packet. I like money."
Yes, he's a good player, but to make such a fuss isn't worth it. If he's not happy and playing, he's not part of the team, so how does he think he's going to cope with all these 'brilliant' players apparently coming in?
And if Hilly didn't fight for him, its surely telling you something.
But I've grown bored of all this 'revolution' and 'BuryAreBack' rubbish now.
If they go up -fine, but I'm more concerned about this club.
