For what it’s worth here’s my view on the ticket prices; I have been a Season Ticket holder for several years and I actually don't think the season ticket price increase is that bad when you consider the following; * We support a club with a £10million loan *We only have an 18,000 stadium *We have been out of the Premier League for over 10 years QPR aren't a rich club the owners are and as a result the club need to maximise their income to allow the club to be in a position to stay in the Premier League and help manage some of the constraints we have on us. Whilst I accept an increase in season ticket prices I do struggle to get my head round the excessively high match day ticket price. As I see it the club would sell all their allocation of season tickets regardless of a massive cost saving on the match day ticket price as the demand to secure a seat is so high, so why not have a slightly increased match day ticket price to members and then a much higher match day price to non members allowing the club to make money off increased membership and penalise non members with a higher price? |
