Caulker is a tidy player. Good in the air, good in the tackle. Does exactly what youd want a 'solid' centre back to do. Would i swap him for any of our lot, even Amat? On first view probably not. Caulker gets caught out of position now and then, but that can be coached out of him. He does, however, struggle with ball at his feet for me.
With Cardiffs back 4, i see lots of balls being played out from the defence and it coming straight back at them with pace. My crystal ball expects lots of calamity defending this season from CCFC. |  |

They all had us down for certain relegation.....twice.
Whatever else Cardiff do, I doubt they will breeze into the premier league. Unless they buy another six decent players, or find a style that protects them from the step up that they've wholly underestimated to date going by their comments, it's going to be a very rocky road indeed, hopefully ending with a very hard fall.
The true test will come when the shine wears off from December onwards. If they haven't gathered up many points in their first fifteen games (16 plus) they will be toast. |  |

Fee was agreed, both clubs stated that.
Capoue was holding out for a club playing European football.
If he goes to Spurs, I'd be happy if Huddlestone came to us. | |
