What really jumps out is the team spirit, talking, and support from to and from each player.
We're in a really good place at the moment, and long may it continue.
Presumably evidence of what to expect..obsessive interest from Korean fans? - but interesting.so has a Danish fan got one of Masden. I’m not sure I saw him touch the ball on Friday?

I was stood outside LR a couple hours before kick off waiting for the family and a Korean ‘fan’ came up and starting chatting . Lovely fellow. Was on holiday in London and got a ticket to his first ever game . Had been in the club shop and spent a fair bit . As my family turned up he started introducing himself and chatting like we had been mates for decades. 🤣🤣
I tried to ask him about the Korean fascination for following individuals rather than teams but the language barrier on that one proved a step too far. He talked to me about Park and more surprisingly Young Suk Yung he knew a lot about . Anyway , very nice bloke . I wonder if he is doing part of the video clip ?

왜 팀보다 개별 선수를 더 많이 팔로우하시나요?
And you spell it the usual way, so not sure why you were so flummoxed.

Having signed a Korean 18 year old from spurs my first thoughts were what’s the point Got to say I’m impressed with him He was very decent when he came on against Blackburn and what stood out for me was his strength He doesn’t get knocked off the ball easy Thought he was struggling a bit the other night and then produced a wonderful run and cut back for chair Hopefully he gets a loan with us as well next year as I think there is so much potential in this boy
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Yep gotta love giving minutes to a Spurs player on loan for half a season with no chance realistically of us going up or down , pretty pointless really 🤔
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

Pointless - except for the three we picked up and to make a point, the wonderful entertaining fixture we got to watch.

Exactly. Electric in the ground. Nice for us to enjoy that kind of entertainment sometimes.
We also gave a rest to the overworked Smyth, won a few extra fans, filled the ground and enhanced our credentials as a club you want to send your best young players on loan to.
All things that are positive in my view; even the parachute clubs rely on loans, no reason why we should be above that.

Agree Nix.
The modern day game incorporates all clubs with interesting short term loans
Last two seasons, some of the loans added depth and strength in successful relegation avoidance. This season with an outside chance of sneaking into the players why not try.
Who is to say where we will find ourselves next season.
Find moans about loans weird - it's part of the game - all clubs use them to better their positions and why not, especially if you get quality for cheaper.

I thought he was struggling a lot. Lost the ball an awful lot and seemed unsure defensively.
But, ya, that run and cutback was lovely. Also nice work for Chair's saved shot.
It was very noticeable, especially in the first 20mins or so, that he was struggling off the ball positionally and knowing when to track or press. Credit Dunne doing his best to coach and Yang responded well, also perfectly understandable considering his relative inexperience.
I think the positives far outright the negatives though and not only do I think he has potential to improve that right side / three behind Frey, but I think it also allows us to use Smyth in rotation and as an impact sub (which is ultimately where I think he's best for us). Looks a nice pickup for Spurs!

Well, I agree, ultimately.
The ideal is that we own all of our players, but maybe that's not possible.
The squad is stretched, Nourry said (I know, I know...) that he's against loans but maybe the truth is that the budget was spent and in january our only option was to loan.
But we needed bodies one way or the other. So, ya, waddayado...

The people that complain about "developing other teams players" are probably the ones that say we should be sending our young players out to other teams and don't get the irony.
Like you say, it's all part of the game. It's also good for building relationships, we've had a very successful chain of loan players from Tottenham. If at the end of the season Tottenham have seen what a great job we've done with Yang they are likely to send other prospects to us, perhaps even a full season loan next year for Yang if things work out.
I doubt we're paying much, if anything for Yang. It feels like we're doing Tottenham a favour here (keep the player in London at a good level etc) rather than us desperate to fill a position so have to pay a loan fee and a large chunk of wages.

I'm in agreement with you simmo. He certainly wasn't contributing much to the game in the first 20 minutes, but our overall ball retention was poor during this period!
I also noticed Dunne giving him a "coaching" session & he grew in to the game from that point. Or to put it another way, after Chair had scored our first goal!
By the time we reached the second half, he appeared to understand his role & looked comfortable on & off the ball. Considering that he has only been with us a short time, I was impressed with how he appears to have integrated with the other players. And vice versa!
