Fantastic news. Just needs to find a bit of form and consistency to help maintain our ongoing momentum. QPR through and through.

Good grief - get a grip on what matters and what really, really doesn't!

If Nourry offered to work for QPR for free, cut ticket prices in half, and dressed up in blue and white lingerie to sing 'Never Felt More like Singing the Blues' in the centre circle in a hailstorm, some people would still be digging him out for too young, too posh, or too clever!

People can have agendas and angles, of course, but that's as true of Marti, Jude the Cat, and the bloody tea lady as it is is of Christian!

How many years is his new contract ??

Was this made public in our new open to news information era ??

One year , three years or ten..

Pointless releasing half the information..

Was this said ???

Is it good news as he has not exactly set the world on fire, since he has been back, but how long is his contract ???

Have I missed something ???

Great news. Credit to the club for getting recent contracts extended can’t have been easy competing with other clubs that could potentially offer signing on fee and higher wages.

This brings stability to the squad and possible future transfer fees as these players develop.

Good news, albeit with the usual proviso that we don't know if there's a minimum release clause or, as is the recent dictat, how long it's for.

There should be a minimum release clause particularly if it can pay for something bigger faster and turns defenders.

Until we have a few more attackers who can run in behind defences they’ll be plenty more Sheffield Wednesdays doing a job on us.

Chair has been with the club since Jan 31st 2017 I believe.
With this contract, we can assume at least 2 years, so we would assume he could make it to 2027, meaning he would have been with the club for over 10 years.

He should then get a testimonial. How many players get testimonials these days, especially attacking players who actually play well?

Last testimonial I remember was for Macca, unless there was another?

If we get a testimonial, does this mean we get to see Adel, Rowley, Cook, Slim Sinton, Holloway, P.Furlong, take to the field? Possibly against a Morocco select 11, seeing as there is plenty of them that play over here and in Europe.

All fantasy I know!

zzzzzzzzzz

A bit like Andersen when he's played this season, Chair is way off his best and has been whenever he's played this season. His reactions, twist and turns, everything about him looks so much slower than he was before this season. I hope the Club are really sure this is all to do with his injuries, maybe Belgium legal problems, and he will be back at his best soon. Saito looks a more likely starter left side for Millwall, as do Smyth out right and Morgan at ten.

He's had two very bad, completely separate injuries.

The first, in his back, will have restricted any exercise or training at all, even in a gym, to almost nothing, and that went on for a couple of months. So he's not only had no pre-season, he's had nothing of anything. Came back heavy from that for me, which I suppose you would do if you go from training every day of your life to sitting on your bum and eating for two months.

The second came just as he was getting back in after the first. Nightmare timing.

He's now trying to feel his way back in again at a time when all we're doing is sitting on coaches and playing matches. Very little going on at Heston at all.

I suspect with all that he'll be patchy/ropey for weeks to come. Maybe even for the rest of this season. But I'm pretty happy to give him a pass on that. Maybe he will never be the same again but he's been terminally available for selection for his entire time here so I think we owe him the benefit of any doubt.

Contract very good news.

...while still delivering a couple of match / point-winning assists that I suspect no one else in our squad is capable of...

Very good news indeed. The lad has been a great servant over the years so one injury affected half-season isn't going to cloud my judgement. We already know his attributes and he's now entering his prime. Congrats Ilias and credit to the board. Now go get the Dunne deal done.

He is a rookie, and he is trying to make an impression.

The choice or colour of his lingerie, or any any of your other remarks do not correlate to my two points above.

Re Chair & he seems way off his best, he needs a bloody good pre season when we start up again, write this season off with him but hope we can see some glimpses of what the real Ilias can do

Shadow of his past self. He's made of the right stuff, he'll come good, very little doubt about that.
