Just for the record, if I had my sceptical words about the team selection briefly shoved down my throat, I'm now regurgitating them! If Marti gets the plaudits when they're warranted, he also needs to take the brickbats!

Yes yes. We know you are always right and happy to be proven so at the detriment of the team. Well done you. 3-2 now. Rather than give the team support always about how smart you are

Morgan and Dunne for Madsen and Ashby at HT has to happen I think.

We've played well. Considering the quality of the team they put out, this has been well above "par" as an effort - some poor individual mistakes have cost us.

They haven't had a single shot on target that hasnt gone in. Hard to criticize the team selection that much.

Someone's clearly been working on his shooting! Once again, my pie is crumbled, humbled, and shoved down my cakehole!

Game on, my ridiculous club!

Must say, I’ve seen a lot of sharp shooting from him in pre-match warm ups at Loftus road. Always finds the net with a crisp shot.

Hope the poster who unfathomably said he was wanting to see what Madsen could do has had his eyeful through the mist!

I think he was always going to get 45mins but his stats are going to be (even more) shocking from this game.

On the plus side we are still in the game, have created plenty of opportunities and have a strong bench.

How Marti uses that bench is going to be critical now.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

You can say what you like about the team selection , not read through this thread and the usual suspects probably have, but we’ve played really well . We’re the better side for big chunks of that .

But if you keep giving the ball away in the middle of the park (like we do a fair bit) against a Premier League team you will get punished . And punished we have been .
Naive and from Ashby . Admire the confidence but that’s plainly stupid . Kolli too for the 3rd goal but tucked his goal away nicely .

Couple of strong subs (Dunne for Ashby maybe ) and we have a chance

I don't know what it is about Ashby but I don't want him anywhere near the first team. Just doesn't seem a footballer to me. Always seem to choose the wrong option. Simple passes go a stray and his touch is awful. Then he'll do something good and then revert to type

A very very frustrating 1st half, though Kholli's gift as given us hope, just shows mistakes happen!

The game itself as been really entertaining and Just goes to show you here and the Swansea game, both can be summed up for us, a cobbled up defence don't really work

The frustrating part is that we were the better team, for large parts of that half. Then 2 mistakes and they score....but we are not out of this yet

Chair for me is possibly the best player on the park. Varane also doing well. Perhaps also Kholli is proving that we might not need to get another forward in, as he as given the defence not a moments piece, and took his goal well

Must get Masden off, he has been completely by-passed and bring Morgan on. As for Edwards and JCS I would leave them on, they need minutes together as they are going to be our pairing. Maybe bring Dunne on, but honestly I would leave Ashby in as apart from that brain fact he as been decent

We are not out of this yet, and certainly not been outclassed. In fact for me the opposite, we have been the better team.

Agreed, and we've a strong one - Frey, Smyth, Colback, Dunne - at least two of which Marti probably should have started with. I'd be pulling Madsen, Ashby, Edwards and the disappointing Saito in that order, and doing all we can to win the second half.
