Two goals
Kissing the badge celebration...

Interesting to see what happens next.

I didn't manage to see the game but understand he was sensational.

A fine all-round performance topped by 2 well taken goals. The lad was everywhere; leading the line, pressing, tracking back, working the channels, delivering crosses, hunting in the pockets, and trying to get on to the end of things. He came very close to a hat-trick on a couple of occasions. Injuries will probably force Marti's hand anyway but irrespective it'll take a brave man to drop him on that showing.

I said on the match thread but having a striker with that level of movement makes our all round game so much more attacking. We can play balls forward and get him running on to them, bringing others into space too. We can also get him holding the ball up, he's strong and uses the ball well. He can finish as well as anyone at the club. I hope a few more are a bit more familiar with his game now and I hope we get to see it flourish.

When he came on I said to my mate that he'd at least do the unexpected. In scoring a brace he certainly did that.

As said, his movement is good and definitely better than Celar's. His darting little run for his first goal was excellent.

Made at least 3 early runs off the last man's shoulder that Varane tried to hit him early with so close to being pin-point 40 yard passes,

Like his movement, his aggression and just looks like a footballer,

Varane looking the all round Midfielder we haven't had for years too.

Indeed. I have been raving about him on here since he was 16. Our youth system is poor, but he is a rarity, and he was always the stand-out talent. Not only is he the real deal, and just needs opportunities and game time, but he has been with us since 8 years old and used to sit in the Ellerslie on match days. Truly one of our own. And I hope that contract is now signed, hence why he has now been bought back into the fold.

I was one of his biggest fans previously also, hence my avatar and could not understand his lack of opportunities

Few respected people on here were saying he was Billy big B*ll*x and runs around and does nothing.

There was a lot of noise on here that the club were trying to shunt him onto Saudi Arabia and at a time when Frey was injured, Celar was showing nothing and our only other option was Alfie Lloyd.

Hard to understand any of that and if true some people at the club should be taking a look at themselves.

Am glad he got his opportunity today and like with Celar, hope this can give him renewed confidence. I don't think he lacks for confidence anyhow.

I can't understand any of the rumours that Nourry was pushing him off to Saudi. I can't believe that because would have been idiotic given our general striker crisis this season

Anyhow whatever happened previously hope it doesn't stand in the lads way here

The one thing I was most impressed with Kolli here today was that his pace remained throughout the game and he was still running full pelt , chasing down and on two or three corners was at near post and cleared all of them away.

Great performances from the boy.

Please stay fit now young Mr Kolli. We need you!!!

Should never have been kept out of the fold. How does his contractual situation differ to Dunne's. Case of cutting our nose to spite our face.

Agree with all of the qualities of his that have been referenced by others and were on display today. His first touch is excellent too, the ball stuck and he is physically very strong. Loved how he dismissively knocked Stacey to the ground, towards the end of the game, before curling a shot just wide of the far post.

Agree. But sadly our chief executive loves a power play.

Kolli is a hard working, down to earth, extremely talented footballer. So much nonsense written about his attitude. The lad will let his football do the talking given the opportunities.

As I mentioned on the match thread, there is more thana bit of Taarabt about this lad. Great first touch and skills, great body strength, look at how he held of the defender for his last chance and finally massive confidence combined with a touch of arrogance.

Loved his performance today

Some header that as well, the behind the goal angle you could see the power that he got on it

Was really hoping that he would have completed his hattrick, he came very close.

We must repeat again on Wednesday to keep this momentum going, quite remarkable with our injury list, but illustrates what a talented coach we have.

I must admit I didn't think he was ready for the Championship but that display proved me wrong. He was great against the Norwich set up, and Madsen did well to support him. Looks like he will start the next few games and it will be interesting to see how he gets on against Oxford on Tuesday. We looked so much better pressing with pace today.

Has to play

This boy is the pick of the bunch. He has so many attributes - technique, footballing intelligence, speed of mind and body, pace, balance etc etc. He has to play

It was. Check the number of runs he made beforehand to enable it. He made an initial run, checked himself in order not to get offside, feigned to go again, before making the final run, losing his marker and scoring.

That's precocious talent.

He didn't have the defensive duties he had when playing wide left for the first 11. He usually plays in that position for the DS but sees himself as a striker and he got the opportunity to show what he can do there. Today he laid down an important marker for his future, hopefully at QPR.

he grabbed his opportunity with both hands, played really well and took his second goal so well, really impressive and lived up to the hype, give that man a contract
