That's the thing with Smyth - most moves by most players in any game don't lead to a goal, so most of the time Smyth is pretty positive for us, takes pressure of us and puts it on the other side.
But in those few moments per game when a player could score or create a goal, he almost always fails. If other players can capitalise on his shifting the balance of the game, all is OK; if they can't, he won't win it for us. | | | |
