It was a tough watch with so many errors mate, we’ve lived with the best in this league, but Wednesday is a bread and butter game.

They may have been the better team but we opened them up because we exploited the weakness in their game plan just as they exploited ours, we didn't manage the game properly when we went in front or at the end when we equalised we left ourselves exposed to the counter attack with schoolboy errors.

Well said. Taking the emotion out of it, we basically chucked the game away It is so frustrating It was also bad team selection by bringing on Abdulai and taking Franco off. It was a game we should have won

Sometimes you need to stick with the players doing the job in tight games regardless of when the next game is, if the team selection for the start of the next game has to change so be it but don't change things when things are so tight securing points could be lost by changes.

In fairness Bianchini replaced Franco, Abdulai came on 10 minutes later. But Abdulai should have done far better with that backpost header

Bianchini is chipping in with goals maybe needs to up his percentage of tap in goals but is scoring so don't think it was a bad descion to bring him on just a case of who and when to take players off. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Franco had been flattened twice. It's impossible for us to know how much that affected him and with the next game just three days away maybe it made sense to sub him. We would definitely want him to start against Derby. My big question about yesterday is what on earth is the point of Ronald ? He seems to have lost everything that was good from last season. And Peart-Harris was only marginally better.

Think Ronald is causing problems for teams Leeds as many teams have done are doubling up on him sometimes you need to snuff out problems out early in games as we didn't with James, Tymon needed to ensure his threat was limited by being more cautious going forward onlyvwhen cover was in place from the midfield and centrebacks a balance that needs to be looked at, Key had similar problems on the other side which was stifled for most of the game until Key push forward more into the central midfield where he seems very effective in an attacking sense, fine line balancing the need for attack or defence.
Swansea City : Those errors continue in a right old thriller on 10:48 - Nov 25 with 578 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Swansea gave the ball cheaply in midfield and this cost goals . Grimes and Peart Harris the chief culprits. When that happens a cynical team will take a booking and prevent Dan James ripping your defence apart.

True. First equaliser a template of how Grimes isn’t all that he’s made out to be . We still overplay

Will give Grimes a bit of credit at the moment as his play in general seems a lot sharper and quicker, he has pushed further forward and made some good covering interception but when he does push forward then the other midfielders have to do the covering work. As for the errors that tends to happen when options become limited or the player on the ball is far too confident lulled into a false sense of security although being given hospital passes doesn't help.

Rich. First goal was down to him ditgeringbon the ball. He also,to me,takes risky options in a defensive position He frustrates me as he can play and is a model pro .

We have seen the likes of Ntcham, Celina and Paterson good Adanced midfielders trying to force things from deep come unstuck, all for a player putting a foot on the ball but often the best ball is the first one you see. Similarly amazed that Vigouroux doesn't use Key after he tracks back the winger and then peels off into space as the ball goes through to Vigouroux leaving Key free with plenty of room and time to play either a quick ball down the line or carry the ball forward

It’s why I wouldn’t be averse to a change of coach I maintain ,we are nowhere near being well “ coached” . Our subs are dumb IMO. I feel for Franco as he is subbed every time and then w see Abdulai come on who is really not very good . Nobody is going to persuade me that we couldn’t attract a quality coach . We are a good club

We could move the ball quicker from ours to theirs ,no question. Leeds are very competent in that regard which won them the game . It’s about coaching. Again.

We moved the ball quickly enough, we scored three goals enough to win most matches. We were just beaten by pace in the final third, not by moving the ball quickly from back to front.

I could believe on the room we afforded James, its like we didn't know him, unbelievable, Watched first half of Saints v Liverpool and saints completely shut Salah down in that first half, I don't recall him even having a kick. James's pace is surely something Williams and his staff would have been aware of. [Post edited 25 Nov 21:39]

Too many people seem to be under the impression we are still managed by Russelll Martin and just won’t accept that. You’d think we were still knocking it around the back four with no intent to get it forward reading some of these threads.

How many of us see four attackers racing into the box with only two defenders trying to stop the tide, credit has to be given to Darling, Cabango and Vigouroux for many games this season but the tracking back by the others when a high line is employed is not good enough especially if we are going to give the ball away so cheaply in the centre of the park the most congested part of the pitch with our full backs needing to be high up the pitch for us to show any attacking quality or intent. Picked off again when the opposition needs to. Yes progress seems to be made but Williams still has yet to work out how best from his players for 90 or more minutes over a consistent number games. All about getting the balance right has William's got the players available to do that given the injuries we have to our attacking players.
