Yes, it is an interesting system where ordinary people give up hard earned cash every month to fund salaries of £500K a week.

Ordinary people give up hard earned cash to buy Taylor Swift tickets, go and see the latest Deadpool movie or buy a James Patterson book. Same basic principle.

It doesn’t and it isn’t Fernandez does not make that team outstanding. Ergo, his wages do not reflect his importance . I’ll not mention what a cheap diving cheating jerk he is I have long said football should have salary cap.

"Right" is a matter of opinion. I don't care how much footballers earn. I don't care how much Tom Cruise or Max Verstappen earn. I certainly wouldn't turn it down if it was offered to me.

Well that’s a semantic discussion for another day😉 There has to be some moral input into salary. Of course, at the end of the day it comes down to supply and demand but a cap on salary would be welcome in my opinion. Of course, if I was in that line of work I wouldn’t turn it down but I’m a selfish hypocrite😂

All a salary cap would do is vastly improve the quality of the Saudi Pro league. It is what it is. If the PL wants to attract the best players in the world it needs to offer them the wages commensurate with that.

You don't get a salary compared with footballers Think of the wage in hourly rates and it becomes even worse Absolutely average players use the highest salaries as a bargaining tool It is grotesque , rather like Fernandez
