The Tranmere forum is always a funnily deluded place to have a nosey.

Some are still very bitter that we stayed up when they were relegated & I don’t know which game another was watching yesterday but apparently “Rochdale were there for the taking”.

Great attitude to keep battering away and with a mix of skill, effort and luck got a decent result. I hear RS describe them as a strong side and others mentioned their physicality, yet we had periods of domination. Does this mean that a midfield general is no longer a requirement for us to progress in this league?
Their will be poor on the pitch decisions made as this is a lower level than we are used to seeing and there is a fair gap in abilities between the leagues. But there is nothing better than seeing your team compete regardless of the level.

Could see why they had only conceded 2 goals but could also see why they have only scored 2 as well.

Is that the poster that reckons they should try a 432 formation?

Very odd bunch are Tranmere fans and someone needs to tell them they’re not as big a club as they think. For them to still blame our pitch for them being a bit shit that season is hilarious though.

And was the Golden Gamble claimed? Didn’t hear the numbers at halftime.

Having watched the highlights a couple of times I hadn’t realised ow much of a nuisance O’Keeffe made of himself when that late chance presented itself to Tranmere.
Real last ditch determination.

Have looked at Cashmans goal again several times and realised what a true strikers goal it was. In the middle of defenders good first time touch followed by a cool classy finish with the outside of the foot.
Second league goal for Danny and on the strength of that I'm hopeful we'll see many more this season as his playing time increases.

I think he actually deflected it onto the post, the ball definitely seems to change direction. Unbelievable defending

Extra marks for Shane McMahon’s theme this week. Aim to get a different entrance song in every game.

Tend to agree with that . O'Keefe's contribution there probably made to chance more difficult than was originally assumed .
