Vetch definitely felt louder.
Much better atmosphere.
I agree totally.
Bring back standing places!

Yep, including all the Premier League years, I probably count the mid 90's as my favorite time following the Swans.

The Premier League years were a bit surreal, didn't feel like it was really happening to our club. Even being there for some memorable wins like away at Arsenal for example. Just beyond all comprehension back then.

But nothing beats the Vetch and all the build up that went with it. The atmosphere, the smell (both good and bad), the buzz. Cant beat it for me and probably never will.

Walking up the slope onto the NB on a night game my first Swans game in the early 80's and seeing the Vetch all lit up and thinking wow how cool is this place.
The buzz of the cardiff games started 24hrs before the game and ended 24hrs after the game.
The Queens, The Garibaldi, The Swansea Jack.
Playing a bigger club in the F.A cup (and sometimes beating them)
Friday night games then on the p1ss into Marthas & Central Park.
In 1984 beating cardiff 3-2 after 2-0 at half time with Dean Saunders x2 and Curt
Tosh, Burrows, Molby, Jackett.
James, Curt, Trundle, Robbo
Middlesbrough fans charging across The Kingsway roundabout and steaming into The Queens pub.
Northampton fans in a transit van with an air rifle sticking out of the back door
Swans fans rocking a red tiny fiat panda with 4 skin heads inside looking straight ahead as if nothing was happening
North bank toilets were a luxury compared to the West stand toilets they were really just a wall.
Getting in for under 16yrs old until about 22 yrs old.
Eggy farts with someone p1ssing on your leg or having a fag burn on you in the NB.

Oh I never do that Patches.

Facts are facts. My opinions however are largely based on common sense and factual evidence. Slight difference but not too much.

No there’s definitely a difference. Just because some of your opinions turn out to be right it doesn’t make them facts

It does, by the very nature of them being proven correct.

If I tell you 2+2 is 4, and you aren't quite sure until you see the evidence.... this is a fact despite you not having confirmation on the calculator yet.

What you mean is you realise its a fact, after I do.
