Hopefully not as football is going down the pan if that’s the case if a decent Championship
striker no more no less can earn that much at a club like Sheffield Utd

I’d say most of their boys are on £5000 to £10000 a week. I could be wrong. But its Sheffield Utd not Manchester Utd.

Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

If that's the case why were we paying £35,000 to £100,000 a week.

Yeah, but to compare directly to Sheff Utd.

Sam Clucas. Jesus. How much was he on? At least 30k pw I'd wager.

McBurnie didn't go to the end of July did he? The transfer window shut early August. Doubt any other PL clubs were interested.

Sheff Utd didn't have to offer much to get him to sign, more than double what he was on here and close to home (he may actually live with his parents looking at the address the BBC gave, doesn't seem somewhere a 24 year old PL footballer would live).
