Because he’s a bloody good player and they believe they can get him fit. There aren’t many players who can ghost past defenders as easily as he does. If he wasn’t such an injury prone fanny he’d be at the very top level.

I'm sorry, but i really can't subscribe to the view of his talent that is continually rolle out on this forum. Except for a couple of games against Chelsea and Arsenal he has done very little. He has had the odd moment and produced an assist now and again but has been largely ineffective and hangs around the half way line cramping space and when he gets the chance to get the ball in he either tries to beat a man four times or drinks in a little bar that is usually swallowed up by a centre back. I remember being in the Hawthorns for an evening fixture a few years back when Rindon scored a hayrick and he hid the whole game....it was pitiful and embarrassing

Dan has the right attitude. If Montero had the same attitude as dan he’d be up there too.

Actually the way that Dan gets flattened and then gets up and just carries on would leave Montero a cripple if he tried it. I don't think his hot climate muscles & tendons are suitable to UK winter football.
