"However, I will always champion the eyes of those who have watched, over the opinions of the peripheries who unwelcomely holler from the edges."

Does that apply to Parky Gimp as well? I believe he attends regular or Blackdog ? I could add James, Nigeria mark and others who only watch the odd games... could you tell me how many games qualifies for an opinion?

It applies to everyone.

There is no specific number required to qualify, but zero puts someone at the bottom of the table.

The whole point is that he HASN'T actually watched the games, how can you base/air an opinion purely on what you've read or heard.

Similarly I personally never post about players, games etc I've not attended as my point of view is pretty worthless having not seen a thing of that specific game.

The point of his I was agreeing with , is that all people’s views on a game are equal, if they have watched the game.

I dont understand peoples need to constantly post this. Its plain to see even for a blind man that hill is the best we’ve had.

Good footballing side, wembley, 2 promotions and an extended stay in a division deemed to be above where we ‘belong’.

Anyone who thinks any different needs their head testing.

If you think the majority of the football last season was good, you need your head replacing, looks like the board agree with a 30% uplift in budget. Mr hill is however the guy for the gig

Sweetcorn's more than able to do his own impersonation of a large green giant when his dander is up, but in the interim, I'm really struggling with how any part of his post could be interpreted as "the majority of the football last season was good"

I agree with that. It’s not about analysing last season in order be pessimistic or attribute blame -it’s about making sure we don’t endure a repeat.

That’s why I’m keen to read stuff about Hill’s thoughts - what he thought went wrong and what he’s doing to address it.

I couldn't agree more Fitz. I think Hill comes across as being arrogant many times but I have started to believe (or maybe I want to believe) that he is trying to put on a brave face and not wash our dirty linen in public. I do think however that it would do him and the club a million favours if he just came out and gave a run down of what he learned from what was a close run fight against relegation.

It would make him many friends and take the edge off this 'not my fault' view he seems to portray. I 100% think he loves the club and knows he is revered by most but just show a human side and he will grow so much in everyones estimation.

I think you need to re-read what i’ve posted throughout this thread. I was talking in the post you highlighted about keith hill’s whole tenure as rochdale manager, not one season.

The season which has just passed was pretty dire on the pitch.

Leader of the little gang of immature cretins.

If you don't attend games, your opinion is less valid than those who do. Sweetcorn is bang on and your "old chestnut" jibe is but a jibe.

Your support is welcome, but you see as much as Yorkshire Dale does due to transport problems which I understand. ie nowt!

However, I will always champion the eyes of those who have watched, over the opinions of the peripheries who unwelcomely holler from the edges.

Whatever rattles your cage and pisses you off is fine by me.

This is not the time for bickering.
