Burnley on 15:33 - Feb 5 by andypitt56 | to be honest, i would take a point. |
If we are to stay up we need 3 points from this game, but agree with others, it's gonna be a tough game. As for Burnley's lack of flair players, the same could be said of us, hard work and determination is what will win this game, and we have a habit of switching off against the lower teams in the past.

"we have a habit of switching off against the lower teams in the past" They are currently 7th, hardly a "lower team" at the moment.

Burnley on 16:41 - Feb 5 by monmouth | I wouldn't. I really think we need to nail this one. The pressure is going to go off the scale after this. I'd take a point over none mind. |
Yup. With twelve games left and the tradtitional sixteen points needed this is a game we need to be targeting three from. It's not going to be easy, but at least some of the sides around us will pick up points so to keep the pressure on it's one we simply can't afford to lose. With the run of fixtures we have until the end of March it'd be good to keep the confidence high too.

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Burnley on 18:26 - Feb 5 with 2895 views | longlostjack | Just watched the Leicester game in full and what struck me was the pressing and closing down the spaces. Mawson gets well forward too. It's not hari kari though and they're all tracking back at the first sign of a counter. Bring it on!

Burnley on 14:52 - Feb 5 by SWANSEYE | We need to be patient and take our chances which I am sure we will get and keep it really tight at the back . .Burnley are a solid team and well organised so we have to be careful. If we get 3 points here the next few games will see us either up or down as we are playing all the teams in and around us . . . |
Cheers for stating the obvious.
Burnley on 18:40 - Feb 5 with 2876 views | Jango | Why anyone would go into this game being happy with a point I don’t know. Anything less than a win takes a bit of the shine off the last 2 Home wins. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Burnley on 14:56 - Feb 5 by A_Fans_Dad | The OP obviously did not watch them against Man City, who are just about the best Premier Team. A point would be a very good result and a win would be fantastic. "There for the taking" they are NOT. |
If City had taken their chances it could have been a cricket score. We need to win games like this.

Liverpool 4-3 Man City Closely followed by. Swans 1-0 Liverpool.

Burnley on 15:48 - Feb 5 by Glyn1 | I think Barnes has scored only 4 goals this season and Vokes hasn't scored in 3 months. Given our own problems it's not going to be a high scoring thriller. |
Lump on them scoring. We are generous like that. It’s the Swansea way

Burnley on 23:56 - Feb 6 by dsr_burnley | Lost 3 away games all season - at Leicester, Man City, and Crystal Palace. How dodgy is that? Maybe Saturday will be the fourth - it depends how much you've improved since the game at the Turf. But don't rely on us having got worse, because (apart from a few more injuries, which we can cope with) we haven't. |
How confident are you of your forwards scoring, or will your goals come from elsewhere?

Burnley on 00:16 - Feb 7 with 2441 views | harryhpalmer | after the way Carlos approached tonight's game, I do not see any complacency creeping in for Burnley, somehow.

Elsewhere or nowhere. It's fair to say our defence is better than our forwards - in 16 games that weren't against the top 6 clubs, we've scored 12 and conceded 6. It's not that we're especially defensive, just that (particularly with Brady and Wood missing) not that incisive. Lennon looked good last week, though. He'll help.

I wonder if the officials will gift you another goal like last year. Thankfully, it didn't matter 😠[Post edited 7 Feb 2018 2:29]

As long as he doesn't get another penalty for punching the ball.

Dyche has his team working like dogs ,not giving the opposition any time or space ,hence their success this season ,this is gonna be a really hard game i feel

Burnley on 15:53 - Feb 5 by Headmaster | We are at home and they're dodgy on the road. We should be looking for three points. We will win, Carlos will make sure of it. [Post edited 5 Feb 2018 15:53]

Burnley on 19:59 - Feb 10 with 1903 views | plasjack | Why are they top half, mainly lucky hoofball mainly too Vokes, who thankfully was ineffective today.
Burnley on 20:11 - Feb 10 with 1867 views | builthjack | We did what was needed. As I said, we need 3 points from these games. Job done. Burnley are a hoof ball side who whack it up to Vokes head more often than not. They have been found out. Well done Carlos and the lads. The ref didn't help us at all.

Burnley on 20:21 - Feb 10 with 1830 views | max936 | Sean/Shaun Dyche utter prick grizzled and moaned all fing game at every decision against his side, that's despite Mariner giving them every 50/50 and more. Great win and a fabulous goal by MOM Ki, big mention for Carlo for changing things up and giving Burnley more to think about, because in that first half we tried to walk the ball in, 27 pts now its in our hands guys, Fantastic turnaround by a Manager who has been a breath of fresh air, superb stuff.
