Barbados has been an independent country for over 50 years so they are not uncoupling. Gibraltar is a crown dependency so it already has borders with Spain and the UK. I do wish people would do some basic research before posting nonsense.
The 18 countries in the EU which currently contribute less than the UK are certainly not laughing as they are currently being asked to increase they contributions to the EU budget. The 6 or so countries who are net contributors are not willing to increase their contributions.

Ford's decision to close bridgend has nothing to do with Brexit you muppet. Ford has not made any cars in UK for over 10 years long before anyone even thought of leaving the EU. Ford has shafted it's workers for years including the Jersey Marine plant transferring it to a company loaded with debt which went bust taking the ford pensioners money with them. Ford transferred car production to the new countries to the EU which had lower wages than the UK. Yet still British people but ford cars about time they stopped. Ford is a typical American company it cares not a jot for it's workers, customers. It is there just for profit boycott Ford.

It actually goes all the way back to the creation of Ford of Europe. Ford of Britain with a large market making all models was profitable, Ford of Germany were not, too much competition from real German brands. The Yanks amalgamated all the European plants and markets under the Banner of Ford of Europe run by, of course the Germans. From that day on the models were moved out of the UK starting with the Granada in Dagenham.

For trade it certainly isn't and its not uncommon for there to be miles of Lorry queues waiting to cross.
Its open to the regular person only because Switzerland is in the schengen area.
