Is it worth making this a sticky one, so we can post as arising mods?

Luca Cigarini - Alalanta

Simone Zaza - Juventus

Danny Williams, midfielder from Reading!
https://www.clubcall.com/swansea-city/swans-linked-with-royals-star-1813503.html

And bid rejected from L'pool for Joey. Seen in a couple of places today.

been linked with Williams last January, if I recall correctly

Don't get why we don't just offer the £10 million for Allen. Would hate to see Seville or Celtic swoop because we took too long to stump up the cash

Poll: If we're going to sign another defender...

Celtic can't afford the transfer fee, or the wages.

Because overpaying if we don't need to is pretty dull.

If Joe wants to come here then here he'll come.

And Celtic can't 'swoop' for a player like Allen anymore than Cardiff could swoop for him. Rodgers saying that Celtic are a top level club doesn't make it so.

Now links to a L1 Goalie and Chris Gunter. Crap imo. And smoke/fire, why links to a goalie, is Nordfeldt offski?

Should absolutely be shooting for Zaza and Pereyra from Juve. Two players out of favor in that team, both are familiar with FG (Pereyra very much so). Problem is the expense, but get them both for 25-30 mil and I'd be ecstatic. Would show ambition.

Doubt we'd ever see that kind of money spent, though, and Juve certainly has more big-name suitors for those two than us.

We might not be doing much shopping abroad this summer...

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Might explain why we were looking at that 'keeper as Nordfeldt would be off.

Though surely we would try to poach someone from a higher level?

Why not, if foreign players get a visa or whatever to come here and play, then they'll be allowed won't they? Like fruit pickers, only we'll have more control.

Players going the other way however............

It will be like the non-EU cases though - they will have to make a case for a work permit based on international experience, etc. I suspect we wouldn't have had the likes of Angel had we not been in the EU.

But are the regulations you are quoting EU regs?

Could be FIFA regs though I suppose?

Until we we trigger article 50 the EU wont or cant push anything. We have voted out but i would say nothing as been started at the top and even when/if article 50 is triggered then it will take a minimum of 2yrs to pull away, infact dont be surprised it takes longer.

Cameron's resignation means we won't have anyone who can even activated article 50 until October-ish.

It'll be a long, drawn out divorce process.

100%, there is no way Cameron or his cronies will activate it until they are out of there. I would not be surprised that there could be another twist in all this.

A lot of people both out and remain have no clue whatsoever, if they were to end up remaining i am sure there would be a big outcry but if the negotiations are done to safeguard certain things in the UK then it is possible.

The only issue is, if you tell the people what they want too hear then they will be happy...........................words are easy!
