Why didnt we have the same outcry last week when we threw away the game? We lost last week. Didn't see any threads attacking the management. We win this week, and its slit throat signs everywhere. Funny. |
There was so much more about us last week than there was this week. We were unlucky to lose last week, and very very lucky to win this week against a side universally viewed as being the poorest in the PL for many a year.

His remit was to keep us up. He has now done that.
I'll now be judging him on the performances from Stoke next week until the end of the season as the pressure is pretty much off now. If he persists with this negative barely functional football then it's a hell no from me but he deserves the chance to show what he can now do without the imminent threat of relegation hanging over us.
Hopefully it'll involve playing a more expansive style with two wingers. |  | | |

Last week there was hope for the future/next season. We played like a team who knew what they were doing. They just need to be managed efficiently. Alan Curtis is a great motivator and i'm sure the players think the world of him. But a premier league manager he ain't. On the other hand Guidolin took us backwards today. Do you honestly think we ground out a result? Or do you think we were second best and were lucky as f**K? Because i do. 1-0 up against a team that has 16 points all season and we are hanging on! With the pace we have in our side we should have been ripping them apart once they needed to push forward. But nah! We got a lucky goal against one of the worst teams that the premier league has ever seen, and you think we should be grateful!  |  |

Totally agree. I can't believe that a manager of his experience and longevity doesn't have more in his locker than we've seen to date. Sometimes the last thing a team in a relegation battle needs is somebody coming in and making wholesale changes too soon. We've done what was needed now, and it hasn't been pretty, but with the shackles off hopefully we'll see something a little more inspiring over the last 7 games |  | | |

What I dislike is the fabricated narrative that there is some sort of battle going on. Good vs evil. That any thing good is down to curt and everything bad is down to Guidolin. Its downright juvenile. Curtis oversaw some grim performances too. | |
