Well, to me, a point arrived where he appeared to lose focus and seemed frankly disinterested with the club. I had heard by then (first hand from an impeccable source...) that the club were looking to offload him as they'd been told by our fitness people that he was "a busted flush" to use the term I always recall. That was as long ago as while we were still in Europe. Just telling you what I heard, take it or leave it. Nothing since appears to disprove this at least.
For me, he was our best ever player, for a season, as I've said on here before. So I've no axe to grind with him. Shame injury spoiled his career, as with many others. | |

Most people display odd behaviour at times - Michu seemed like a very private person- whether his behaviour was odd - probably only friends and family would know. Maybe his so called odd behaviour was just him being himself. | |

Maybe calling him a classless prick was a bit harsh on reflection but whatever way you look at it, his words were a swipe at us.
His passion for us on the pitch was certainly reciprocated by the adulation he got from the stands.
For whatever reason, he seems very bitter towards us.
If he was ostracised under Monk then fair enough, but then that was down to a particular person, not the club as a whole who I think did whatever they could to help him. |
What makes you think that 'he's very bitter' about us? He's never said a single thing that is critical about us.

I can assure you Monk & Ash were one, if not the, major reason that Michu wanted out of Swansea.
I can promise you as FACT that Monk also stated within 48hrs of taking over as caretaker boss in his own words that he'd "get rid of all those Spanish C@nts in the Summer if I get the job permanent" Believe me or not I don't care, but I told a few around where I sit at the time and sure enough the following Summer, off they all went, one by one with of course the exception of Amat.....
So maybe Michu's comments of feeling loved were more directed at the club than the fans hey!!!
P.S. What a privilege it was to see him play in the Swans shirt... definately one of the best players we ever had [Post edited 8 Jan 2016 23:03]

As Marcham said , the guy is finished as a top level player due to injury. Nowt to do with Monk, or Michu's head etc. If people can't understand that they are blatantly ignoring the facts. How folk can't see that if he was fit enogh that some good club would have bought him/signed him by now is utterly beyond me. He was finished by early 2013/14 season.
