Agreed, Everyone who is overly negative needs to get a grip, its obvious we are not playing at our best atm but we need to get behind the team. Played well today against a tough team which everyone thought would hammer us.

Lets face it, its not relying on the odd point at the likes of Anfield that will define our season.
We need to be winning at the Liberty.
Needs to start against Leicester next week.

If you can fill the unforgiving minute. With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Currently I see us only better then Villa and Newcastle.

Us, Villa and Newcastle to go down if things stay as they are.

Good point for Norwich today, unfortunately.

If we don't get in a decent scorer in January (and build upon today's improvement) I have no doubt that we WILL go down. I've been saying it since September...Villa, Bournemouth, Swans.

Home wins needed, starting next week. Fester are nothing to be afraid of as long as we don't go too gung ho and tighten the midfield.

If 40 is the safety point then are we capable in our 24 games left
of getting a run something like

Brutally unfair result, today. So why am I not totally depressed? Because it was a very much improved performance - some very neat inter-passing and a resolute defence. Still fairly toothless and didn't really look like scoring but ................................................it was Liverpool away at Anfield - it wasn't Watford or. Norwich - and I thought we'd go down by 4 or 5 if I'm honest. If we can keep playing like that and add a goal threat - big ask- we'll be all right. Bafe even had a half-decent shot on goal, But we need a striker badly.

The most uplifting things about today? -
1) Liverpool were hanging on at the end.
2) Those do not look like players who do not want to play for the team (unlike Newcastle). ,Garry has not lost the dressing room.
3) It took a harshly awarded penalty to beat us. How many would Villa, Toon or Norwich have conceded today? And this was a team that demolished Man City on their own patch last week.

The future is bright(er) - the future is Swans in the Premier League.

For me its up in the air, but I've told myself that I've been giving relegation and the form were in to much head space. I think there is a chance we could go down. but I believe that we'll get back into it. Its just a rough patch.

Did not really expect any today though. 1 point in our previous 4 games there.

Next week is a different story, and I don't care how high Leicester are in the table.

"today was better", "much improved". So going to Anfield, losing 1-0 and not registering a shot on target is something to celebrate. Jesus. Total bullshit. We will go down if things don't change. We aren't better than Bournemouth or Norwich hence our recent results again them. Dog s*it thread, either someone fishing for a bite or a genuine deluded idiot.

89% of people in that article have voted to stand by Garry Monk.

Shame so few of them write their opinions on Planet Swans.

Today there was an improvement from our squad according to media people and ex players.

Here on this forum is generally negative, and often personal spite to certain of our players and the staff who work with them all week.

It's time the majority had their say, and got behind the team. I know one thing! reading this forum will give our players confidence......Not!!!

Another 1-0 loss. Yes it was to Liverpool at Anfield but how many more games are we going to have where a team scores then shuts up shop knowing we wont get a goal. Performance today was better although equally said would of been hard to be worse.

Didums, a few professional players earning £XX,XXX k a week are gonna have their feelings hurt if they read comments on this forum. Fans who follow the team everywhere through thick and thin and see more than these naive pundits have every right to be frustrated and negative......there is nothing for them to be positive about!. Those players need to pull their fingers out and gain confidence from that and lord Monk needs to get them doing it with new ideas.
