Someone just told me they were expecting 5,000 there.
That's a hell of a turn out.

No atmosphere? Really? What the f*ck were you expecting mate? It was a training session ffs.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Did you try and get any songs going? Was the drummer there?

All the kids there got a free Swans scarf ( from the Europa fixtures), fairplay to the club.

As for the training session, more football played than usual to keep fans entertained I expect. Understandably, no set pieces or tactical play practised, being an open session.

Only Michu missing, that I noticed.

Id say between 4-5000 myself ,was quite interesting , i just hope that the intensity that the likes of monk felt was missing under the previous regime wasnt on display today, i think i would have handled that session quite easily !!

I have to say that i thought it was very good idea to have this day ,especially as the kids were off school, i would like to think an open session once maybe twice a season would be a cracking way of regaining the closeness we have had these last 10 yrs .

Poz looked good ,cant understand why he doesnt make the bench, Canas's body language didnt look that good to me,last to join the huddle first away from it etc,etc understandable if he is frustrated in not playing,he always seems like bubbly bloke on the videos ive seen on you tube .

Free scarves for the lucky ones, better to give them away than have boxes of them in the club shop so that was also a nice touch.

Nothing learned other than Foulton and n gog for canas and Poz doesnt seem like a football decision .

I enjoyed the few hours down there so well done to the club, top marks for effort.

PS

Next seasons open session will cost a fiver to get in!..
