The official Arsenal V Swansea City match day thread on 19:31 - Mar 25 with 2538 views | Giant_Penguins | Mourinho has the same philosophy in Chelsea plus several other top managers has the same general idea about keeping a squad competitive. The difference is in the reserve setup. Perhaps ML had a problem with Moore's poor attitude which I tend to agree with. Edit: Was supposed to be a reply to DwightYorkeSuperstar about letting Luke Moore go and the notion of keeping a small squad which is being practiced by many other managers. He did appear to be casually strolling around the pitch more often than not, but the second he would come he would be linking up with the midfield without any struggle at all. Watching Lita and Vasquez sprint round the pitch struggling to get a touch is pointless and we'd be better off leaving an exhausted Bony on than bring on someone incapable of getting the ball. | |

Moore was laid back, but he scored goals, Lita,Schector and Vasquez have minimal goal scoring ability. But to have a small squad when you are in four competitions is foolhardy to say the least. That is one thing that puzzled me about Laudrup, having that ethos for Chelsea is all well and good because they can afford to buy quality players in one go, whereas most others teams have to build quality teams gradually.
