| Forum Thread | Eat Midlands coach to Wembley at 13:23 10 May 2014
Look I/m not being arrogant or anything but someone has to do a bit of forward planning. A few people in the East Midlands -Sheffield down to Leicester- who are aiming to go to the play off final to see QPR win promotion are wondering about having a coach down to Wembley. No details yet in terms of costs. But if enough people contact me to say they are interested I can make some enquiries with coach firms about availability and costs. . Respond via Indy Rs facebook or email me on bobcartwright@uwclub.net. If anyone else interested have contacts with friendly coach firm check costs with them and let me know. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. |
| Forum Thread | Spare Liverpool ticket at 12:19 15 May 2013
Is there any QPR supporting masochist out there who has not suffered enough this season and still wishes to go to Liverpool to see our gutless bunch of tossers lose their final match in the Premiership before they are shipped off to god knows where (and who really cares)? If you fit that category, in other words, if you are prepared to support your club through thick and thin (largely thin at present) I happen to have a spare adult ticket for Sunday in Block L22. Only want face value £44.00. Reply on Indy site or contact bobcartwright@uwclub.net or phone 07999877293. Can meet outside ground to make exchange. |

Wth all the attacking defenders we have now and all the creative midfileders I think we should take a leaf out of Spains book and play 1 1 8 1. I'd like to see any Prem team find a way round that or try to get the ball off us. |

Totally agree with the idea of a multi-purpose stadium, and have argued (AKUTRs) last year that a ground-share with Fulham might not be such a bad idea if it opened up the possibility of the land being purchased by F & H Council and leased back to a holding company comprising both clubs, the Council and a major leisure industry company ie Virgin leisure or some such. We should also look to including other sports facilities. Is there a decent swimming pool in West London, or an ice rink which could play home to a west London Ice hockey franchise and even convert to a basketball court for a national basketball club. This kind of multi sports complex exists commonly on the continent and one on the White City could have a huge potential custom which could enhance QPRs fan base. Worth considering. |
| Forum Reply | How can it be a yellow card offence to don a fez when.... at 19:19 3 Apr 2012
Aside from the fez, how many players have you seen go head to head in the last couple of weeks and not get sent off, as Joey did. In the Newcastle Sunderland match a couple of weeks back there was an incident where one on the Newcastle players tried to choke one of the Tynesiders (like Cisse) in retaliation for a foul. They both got yellows. Does make you a bit sick at how inconsistent referees are, and how we seem to be on the wrong end of the inconsistency. |

All you have tro remember about Fulham are the magical lines from Dennis Potter's The Singing Detective: "Whenever, I want to be alone I go and watch Fulham". |

Actually where has this news come from. I need find a website which is more current than Skysports and BBC which don't change from the morning. |

That would be a good move. Excellent cover for Ale and a good squad strengthener when Ale gets back. Not sure how many more loanees we can have but maybe would be better to buy if his contract situation at Spurs is ok. |

Odd lot of people getting into football club ownership. Thinks we are lucky with Tony and Amit |
| Forum Reply | Taiwo from AC Milan: Coming on loan (confirmed) at 19:22 19 Jan 2012
Looks like a very good signing. But yes just how many (foreign or domestic) loan players are we allowed. So far we have Mercheda (on half season loan), Henrique (presumably same). Wayne Bridge was meant to be coming on loan but I suspect that's not on now (shame it would have made the next cup match even more upsettiong for JT) Can someone explain the loan sustem to me and how many more loanees we can take. |
