| News Comment | Swans ‘Ready to Strike’, some context on those transfers in January at 21:16:37
Fisher, Ginnelly ad Sam Parker and closing in on returns. Josh Thomas will probably return as he is not getting game time. Abdullai Azeem desperately needs a long consistent run of starts. Somewhere like Newport perhaps?. He is only getting cameos out of position. Kyrel Wilson and Lloyd could also go on loan. |
| News Comment | Eom fit & Darling all good for Portsmouth. Harry & Ben would have signed earlier at 19:39:48
It needs to be noted that K,& L have sold the club for pennies and taken a financial hit for themselves to the benefit of the club. They still hope to recover perhaps half their investment if things go well. They will get criticism but in my opinion they were let down by silly mistakes by people who should have been more diligent. |
| News Comment | Swansea City & Jason Levien : The crucial omissions at 12:24:50
The Trust are not good for Swansea city. Their " cunning plan" was to cripple the club and give big money to their funders from over the dyke. All voted for by the dozy members. Bonkers. |
| News Comment | Oxford Utd profile, Swans in January link & Franco latest at 14:38:04
Atkinson made some very unwise remarks a long time ago and apologised profusely, I am prepared to accept his apology. We all live and learn. Swansea city fans sing ethnic slurs about Welsh people and never apologise or repent. Some do get upset when "people of colour" get similar moronic stick to their credit but do not make the link for heritage reasons. |
| News Comment | Causso Darame : A Swansea City dream in shreds at 12:38:33
He was a footballer who was not good enough for committed enough and got into a bit of trouble with the law. That's it. I do not see what Levien and Kaplan have to do with this. Potter had a very strong squad but wasted his £7m transfer budget. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Eom Ji-Sung out of the reckoning for weeks at 17:18:47
I see this as very good news actually and congratulations on a excellent information piece. The offending ligament appears to be on the outside of the knee not on the guts of the lever as shown in the diagram. That must be better. Shame Ginnelly could not be fit to take his place. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Is this worrying or positive ? at 12:57:21
The odd out of the blue 30 yard screamer would be useful. Grimes tries them but the rarely hit the target. Swansea did bettering the period when Manning was on set piece duties taking over from Grimes. Sorba Thomas was a natural fit and was available. Josh Thomas looks good but so far has failed to nail down a staring role in league 1. Injuries affected him. Wilson is extremely sharp. |
| News Comment | Andrew Coleman : I don’t know if the club is up for sale at 18:22:34
Coleman is the chairman of Swansea city not the Chairman of the LLC for whom he works. The LLC will decide whether to sell their stake in the club not Coleman so the question is for Levien and Kaplan not him. This seems reasonable to me. |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Highly rated goalkeeper from Camrose U13 to the Swans at 16:42:48
He is technically 4 th in the pecking order but presumably training with the first team on occasions and playing every week with the u21. He has earned Wales u21 spurs with the successful current u21 team and chosen ahead of Ed Beach on occasions who has been on the bench for Chelsea no less. He has been coached to play out from the back and no doubt will have a ricket or two. Best to get them out of the way at u21 level. Vigoureax, McLaughlin, Broome, Watts, Hughes, Margetson. One hopes for a Roger Freestone figure who can 'hold the fort' for a decade out of the last three names. What is the point of the academy otherwise? Swansea should be the new home of Welsh international keepers with the highly rated current Welsh coach working for the club. |
| News Comment | Wales fans delayed all day today, pictures and latest news at 16:34:43
Cymru's record away from home is very poor and always has been. Bale inspired wins in Lille v Belgium and v Turkiye in Baku. Very little else except over low ranking teams. Traditionally Wales would have approached this game cautiously and be defensive a play for a draw. Bellamy's front foot style may be a comeuppance early in his career. Mike Smith's 0-5 in Georgia, Coleman 1-5 Serbia. Losing in Moldova under Gould. |
