The thing I find most hilarious is your average casual football fan around the world would have never even heard of the skates because they’ve been so irrelevant over the last 50 years playing in basement leagues .

At the end of the day good players want to win trophies and only 5/6 clubs in this country win MAJOR TROPHIES ie premier league , FA cup , champions league . It’s only a matter of time before Brighton ,Bournemouth ,Brentford etc lose all their stars and decent managers like we did . |

Our clowns have always been looking down on your clowns, don’t you feel a bit irrelevant really in the scheme of things. What was it like when the skates won all those trophies in the 1930’s ? . Was it a good atmosphere? What’s it been like following a lower league team for the best part of 50 years. Aren’t you a tad embarrassed about it ? I agree , huge club certainly way bigger than us .I remember in the 70’s they were very competitive and competed at the top but they’ve been in the doldrums for so long now. |

I think the key here is Johannes Spors who obviously rates him highly having worked with him before. We’re never going to get a top class proven manager as we don’t pay the dosh and who would want to come here knowing we don’t pay out on big transfers like Brighton and Bournemouth ffs. I can’t believe how far we’ve fallen but let Dragan ,Spors etc sort it out.

MANAGER UPDATE:
Three very reliable sources have now told me that Rohl has gone. No turning back whatever happens in the rest of this season. He's the Southampton manager when they are relegated. He probably will remain with us this season but that very much depends upon how things play out.
A very sad day. One of the best managers in my time. He should have been a legend, but we just don't have the structure in place to reach anyone's goals. Not the owner, fans, manager or players.
We will always be grateful for last season's miracle and this season's entertainment. He will leave us stronger than he found us. [Post edited 4 Mar 17:20]

Johannes Spors who comes with a very good reputation worked with him at Leipzig, I guess he sees something in him and is pushing for it .
Wednesday are only 7 points off play offs.
