'Little do we know it’s got the curvature of a Brazilian underwear model’s lower back' All in, take my money. What a night - got home around 11.30 and watched those goals over and over.... Up there with classic rangers away games.... Special mention for Varane at the end - he's 100% onboard with those celebrations... fantastic.... |
| News Comment | I hear you’re a set piece team now father – Analysis at 21:17:36
It's almost like a staged level of progress from Marti and his team. Initially they focused on underpinning the defence, then moved onto to improving the attacking options (allbeit with the resources at hand) and finally the moved to create more from set pieces. This is a great review Dan. It just adds to the excitement of what Marti and his team will press on to achieve with a pre-season and some ball playing additions. Not sure I've looked forward to a new season as much as this for many, many years.... Viva Cifuentes!! |

"Similar vibes further forwards where Lucas Andersen, a dream to every housewife in Chiswick and nightmare for every shower plughole" This is exactly why I come here. Superb. Excellent as usual North - That back four with a couple of additions next season will make us play off material.... Now, about those strikers..... |
| News Comment | Dunne’d in the gob – Report at 02:04:40
fantastic report....the range of emotions throughout the game was completely ridiculous... From JU in the Upper Loft I thought Ruddy had made an implausible save.... the joy of realising it was a goal is indescribable .. definitely a sublime QPR moment... Viva Cifuentes!!! |
| News Comment | When you do good, I use the green pen – Preview at 23:05:20
Excellent assessment as usual Clive. Am I the only one that actually thinks Hudds were not anywhere near the worse side that have robbed us at Loftus Rd this season? I don't think they are that bad - definitely better than the cardiff, bristols and swanseas of this year.... |

Amazing piece Clive... captures the audacious talent and true humility of the youngster. I really hope he gets the opportunity to read it so he realises just how much he is revered in these quarters. I also hope that in two/three years time we are looking back at the transfer as a genuine turning point for the club - the moment we actually began to put the theory of developing raw talent into marketable commodities without losing ground... time will tell. All eyes are on your next focus of adoration..... |

terrific piece Clive - every now and then we have the privilege of watching a true maverick at loftus rd. Not quite as eccentric as taarabt, or the audacious stanley, but what a player freeman has been for us.... I hope he gets to read your piece, it's a fantastic appraisal of his talent. Unusally for me, I think I will follow with interest the further adventures of the emperor penguin - I actually wish him a long and fruitful career.... . |

excellent piece Clive - particularly like the summary of Terry Henry, the interviews of which have been bugging me over the last couple of weeks - eloquently put and precise to the point. I don't dislike the man but the mutual masturbation society have been literally circle jerking about his importance as a pundit - WTF?? Happy New Year and thanks for the consistently great reports and commentary. |

what an amazing interview..... the bloke just radiates positivity. the ability to make those players gel and play for not only each other but especially for us is nothing short of incredible. fantastic signing, let's hope he stays..... |
| News Comment | Our captain, the ‘gobby Scouse git’ — guest column at 23:14:12
Some very good points, well made Mel. On the whole I agree - I think the media circus would pitch itself firmly in shepherds bush if we do decide to attempt to sack him - it will be messy and will benefit neither party. The fact is though that barton will almost certainly be stripped of his captaincy - solely on the basis he will be absent for at least four and anything up to ten games. During that absence there will be players creating a new midfield for us - hopefully Faurlin and Diakite - inevitably, it is going to be very difficult for barton to walk straight back into the side..... I hope he stays and becomes a squad player - we need players with passion and guts at Rangers - and he has both in spades.... let's hope Hughes can harness him in a positive manner...... |
| News Comment | Liverpool caught in QPR’s Wednesday night lights — full match report at 00:39:03
Great report Clive - it does beg the question of whether Hughes will pick barton in the starting line up for saturday...... will he stick with a winning formation or not? I have to say that I consider Mackie to be the best impact sub since the ginger scouse fella - however when he starts a game, I think the opposition defence tend to find him out quite early on.... I'm hoping that barton takes this as the kick up the harris that he needs - and strangely enough I told him so at The Forum tonight as he was there for the Shins gig. We need to be behind the whole team for the run in and quite honestly, I can't see Hughes dropping barton - but at least he has set the precedent of subbing him and no doubt will now be able to do that again..... |

This is all very well Clive, but do you really expect us to believe you have a better half called Lyndsey......??? Where's the proof and where why wasn't this information on SSN? |
