 | Your Report | Southampton v Fulham Your Report added by SanMarco at 11:42:03 Disappointing but hardly surprising. The unlucky equaliser sums up something about our season. Yes - lack of player ability and managerial eccentricity have been the main part but we've had some bad luck. We wouldn't have been lucky if we'd got a point from that game. Now to the end of season sh1tshow against Leicester. Our last chance of a point... |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Fulham Your Report added by Block8 at 09:51:22 We look more like a team under Rusk , which has been recognised by the crowd. A decent atmosphere today seemed to help the players but it's obvious we are short of both confidence and ability throughout the side. We are desperately short up front, Ross Stewart looked short of match fitness but still occupied their back four yet we have little else. If Sulemana did some of his tricks and took risks further up the pitch he might start to fulfil his promise but currently he is also coming up short. Dibling is not very good defensively, which unfortunately is what he finds himself doing most of the time and we don't have anyone who can hold the ball up front, so it keeps coming back! Central midfield were excellent today but the same issue is no out ball and our best striker was KWP the right back! Simon Rusk has got them playing together but we don't look like we could ever get two goals to win a game! Looking forward to Wrexham and co next season, with hopefully a more competitive team! |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Fulham Your Report added by mattthelegend at 08:55:28 Actually enjoyed the first half today, until Ross Stewart went off. Sulemana never uses his undoubted pace through poor decision making, he had so many chances in the 1st half to get in behind. Not much more to say really. |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Fulham Your Report added by Bowlercow at 20:48:40 Rusk has at least got them playing with a bit of passion. Unfortunately the substitutions let us down again.Stewart was occupieing their attention but Archer couldn't replicate it For the last half hour they were allowed to push forward at will Replacing Fernandez also gave them control of the m/f I want to see the replays but I thought RS should have had a pen the first time he broke through and the second time his shirt was being pulled yet the wonderful VAR never even looked at it Overall a betterexperience for fans but we still need that point |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Fulham Your Report added by SaintPaulVW at 17:58:41 Looked good for long periods against a lackluster Fulham but basically, our strikers can't score and our defenders can't defend. Still think it's Leicester is our best chance of the vital point. After that roll on next season. |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Fulham Your Report added by silverspringsaint at 17:51:05 Predictable, if quite a disappointment after last week’s performance. We were very passive today, sitting back for Fulham to inevitably score the goals they needed (from the hatful of chances they had). There never seemed an outball on for us and Stewart (and then Archer) were isolated. Sulemana again made a bunch of poor decisions. Fernandes had one of his least effective games. KWP was impressive, Downes too. Stephens continues to justify his inclusion. Ramsdale and Bednarek wasting time throughout the second half was not a good look. |
 | Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Burnley Your Report added by MelakaRanger at 16:16:50 From kick off only one team wanted to win. Only one team had any energy. Only one team had tactics to deal with the opposition. Only one team had players that seemed to care. It wasn’t QPR. True the Burnley budget far exceeds ours but there is no excuse whatsoever for QPR to phone in a performance as dire as today. MC set us up wrong and the players weren’t up for any sort of fight. Top to bottom- utter rubbish |

 | Your Report | West Ham United v Southampton Your Report added by silverspringsaint at 00:39:39 For the second time this year, we should have beaten West Ham. At least a point this time. They now have 36 pts and we have 11 pts. The gap between us should not be that big - but then again they have Bowen and who do we have up front?? Les was MOM for sure, and the midfield as a whole did well I thought. KWP looked good, Sulemana showed flashes . Fans were great, Now let’s just get a few more points and prepare to restart next year …! |
 | Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Swansea City Your Report added by Geoff78 at 20:45:33 After the excitement of two away wins and Lucas' stunning goal at Preston today was crashing to earth. Swansea were much the better team for the first 70 minutes. They dominated possession, pressed energetically and gave Rs few opportunities to get forward. They deserved the 2-0 lead. In the last 20 minutes when our subs were on we looked better, created the goal and had more possession. But Swansea were hungrier, played with more intensity and ran more. We missed some muscle from Field or Varane to support Colback. He's looked good recently but 2 games in 4 days maybe a lot for ageing legs. Fox was poor at the back but perhaps had something of an excuse only starting because Varane had a problem in the warm up. We've had some erratic refs this season but Simpson was one of the worst I've seen. Inconsistencies all the time and in his eyes Rs committed 19 fouls which must be more than we usually concede without doing anything different, indeed without Field or Varane on the pitch. He did at least give us 8 minutes of extra time. Jimmy Dunne may have been at fault for the second goal, he seemed to leave an awful lot of space behind him in the penalty area for Swansea to exploit but otherwise was probably our best player. |
 | Your Report | West Ham United v Southampton Your Report added by mascott514 at 21:17:58 We were there. Pretty dull game, but we sang along, and a few beers and catch up with mates in the sun- was great! West Ham were pretty toothless, and we played some good stuff, especially through the midfield. It was great for big Les to grab the draw- and for once to be clapping off a team who have been through it this year. More of the same next week- bring on the summer and a new era- hopefully! |
 | Your Report | West Ham United v Southampton Your Report added by Jellybaby at 23:33:12 Apart from Bowen West Ham were pretty poor, but a much more enjoyable match from a Saints perspective. For once the subs made us stronger not weaker although didn't notice RS at all. A draw seemed the least we deserved. Our fans were amazing, well done if you were there. Prefer Rusk in charge to the previous two - low bar I know! |
