If Vincenzi would have buried his chance at 1-0 then it would have been likened to Carlos Alberto's goal in 1970 World Cup Final.
the goals on 20:54 - Jan 4 with 3783 views | Daley_Lama | Reminded my a bit of the 4th versus Holland in Euro 96. Until he spooned it wide of course.

Taking nothing away from his performance but that was an absolute sitter, thought it was going to prove a turning point. Thankfully the FG's had other ideas!

Agree-great awareness by him to notice Henderson. Think he's already justified the renewal of his loan!

Is it an exaggeration to suggest that could possibly be the finest goal ever scored by a Dale player ? Playing against a team two divisions higher than ourselves and he waits for an age until the ball reaches him on the edge of the area and then sends a cushioned volley back in the same direction, executing a classic "postage stamp" finish. To describe the finish as world class would be about right.
the goals on 21:22 - Jan 4 with 3602 views | SaxonDale | Lama said on another thread (and I agreed) that Hendo had goal of the season wrapped up after Cheltenham's game. I still agree that Hendo has the award wrapped up, but for today's goal now.

They're joint first now for me, the Chelts one had slighly more tekkers and timing but this one had more glamour and meaning. Can't split em.

the goals on 22:48 - Jan 4 with 3341 views | wmgunit | Didn't realise Henderson volleyed it either. A goal of the highest order.
the goals on 09:20 - Jan 7 with 2985 views | aleanddale | I agree with TS could be the greatest Dale goal of all time taking into account the timing occassion and opposition combined with world class execution. I read on another thread if it had been a premiership goal it would be on a loop for weeks on Sky Sports. Awsome. Hendo - Take a bow son!!!.
