Swansea City in absolute joke mode after deadline day on 10:43 - Feb 4 by PawelAbbott | There is no doubting that Geographical location doesn't help us with the younger players |
Williams probably didn't have time to show Wright the bright lights of Wind St

Swansea City in absolute joke mode after deadline day on 10:41 - Feb 4 by onehunglow | Well, the parts of Manchester area wher his city teammates live certainly out posh Swansea . You need to get up to Hale Barns,Prestbury,Alderney Edge ,Bowden and have a look at your average pile . It’s not all Gorton ,Moss Side and Hulme. There is a lot going on there and it’s vibrant . It’s what young men like |
Yes, but that’s not the point you made. It was about the worst parts of Swansea, not the best. There’s not a single area in Swansea I would feel unsafe in. I couldn’t say the same for Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham etc. And on the vibrant city point, he’s gone to Norwich.

If wright spent more than 5 minutes in LW's company that would have been enough to send him scurrying to Norwich.
Swansea City in absolute joke mode after deadline day on 11:44 - Feb 4 with 562 views | Cheese_addict | Hi everyone. First time poster. I joined the forum after going to the Coventry game, as I felt I had to contribute, considering what’s been going on at the club. What we saw on Saturday was alarming. No fight, no passion, no pattern of play, no pace. No nothing. You’d have expected better considering the run we’ve been on, but it looked to me like a team waiting for relegation, & I think we all know the reasons why. To then have the window we’ve just had, after all the promises given by the hierarchy, is beyond unacceptable. Wrong people at board level, at management level, & on the pitch. If a ship had no captain and competent crew, the ship would just drift away, and eventually hit the rocks and sink. No difference here, & I just can’t see past relegation, or extremely close to it. Having lived through the winding up order in ‘85, & the Petty era, this feels very similar to those times, & I think things will get far worse before they get better, unless things drastically change, which I doubt very much. Hurts like hell because we’re a laughing stock. Can’t wait for the cricket season to start!!

From his point of view Bigger club Better players Better manager with no uncertainty about his future Bigger fan base More chance of promotion in the next few seasons I can accept getting outmuscled by Norwich. What I can’t take is leaving it until deadline day and putting all our eggs in one basket. This will happen time and time again with that strategy.

On the pitch at least, it has echoes of our final season in the PL where we dragged ourselves away from the relegation zone under Carvahal and looked fairly secure quite deep into the season. Then we went on the kind of run we’re on now, losing every game with abject performances and got sucked back into it. For us to avoid relegation, either O’Brien is going to have to be one hell or a player or Williams needs to go. Yesterday won’t have helped squad morale, which already looks at rock bottom. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Swansea City in absolute joke mode after deadline day on 12:07 - Feb 4 with 454 views | wwcigne | Trying to be positive after last nights debacle, which is I have to say is very hard ,if we use any money not used to sign players to replace Williams with a manager/coach who is more tactically astute ,we still have a chance of avoiding relegation.Williams has lost the players that’s pretty obvious Bringing O’Brian in with his championship experience and Having Cooper,Ginelly and Parker back will help but we have to get the right man in to steady the ship and try and get the confidence back. But Williams has to go now

I would expect Coleman had a late night last night after working all day. So I would give him until after training today before he calls Williams into the office to hand him his P45
