Have our Sky overlords announced the March games yet? Would be handy to plan train tickets for Boro away and West Brom

Answering my own Question, it's the 8th Feb at the earliest

https://www.efl.com/how-to-watch/tv-game-selection-process/

Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made by the broadcasters on a four-week rolling basis starting from 1 February (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March). The selections will then be announced to supporters following an agreement with all required stakeholders within seven days.

I'm old enough to remember when they justified this horrendous new deal by saying "we'll give the fans loads more notice of moves".

Cnts.

Sheff Utd and Leeds are guaranteed to move.
West Brom likely.
Can't imagine anybody in their right mind wanting to watch us play Stoke.

Middlesbrough is a midweek game so even if it’s shown live it probably will only change to an 8pm ko.The closer we get to the playoffs, the more likely that Sky will choose to show our games live.

Yesterday I was looking down the fixture list thinking lots of lovely Saturday 3pm kick offs, Spring is in the air, having completely forgotten about our Sky overlords.

We were regularly on tv even when we were shit so I’m expecting total decimation of the fixture list if we carry on being good.

I wanted to come down for the Sheff Utd game but have to hold off on train tickets from Newcastle until Sky make there mind up.

Even then I may have to wait to see if Sheff Utd are in the 2nd round of the FA Cup (Isn't that the same weekend?)

Ignore me - they are out like us, I thought they were still in.

That weekend the fixture list includes leeds v wba and our game against Sheffield Utd,so I reckon ours will definitely be moved for Sky,probably to Friday night.

How has this been allowed to happen?

Last summer during a real hot, humid day, my wife complained that the fan was too low on the table to cool the room. So, I stood it on a football.
Fans are nothing without the football.
Sorry, early start today.

Is annoying. The inference was we'd get a couple of month's notice of changes when this new deal was announced, and to be fair... we have been. But, this new rolling 4 weeks is a bit rubbish.
I suspect our recent form and calibre of opponents in March means they'll pick a lot of our games. Ironically I suspect our promotion charge will have fizzled out by then and the games will not have the heft they thought they would.
In another example of Sky shitbaggery Burtons TV game with Blackpool on Thursday week has been dumped with barely 10 days notice. Sky have something else to show instead now. Probably a tour of Warrington pie shops with Luke Littler....
The game has now moved to its original Saturday slot.

Greed from the EFL and clubs, they didn't need to do this but have allowed the broadcasters to run the game

Bristol City recently sent out an email to season ticket holders who have missed home games, asking whether the absences were due to games being shifted from 3pm on a Saturday. So, presumably some clubs are monitoring the impact. Anecdotally, the Sunday midday games are a nightmare with kids football, depending on whether you prioritise your kid playing or watching their club. City v Swansea has been moved to 12pm on a Sunday, and my son's game has now been moved forward to 09:30, as both teams have loads of City season-ticket holders, but in similar situations last season, the opposition wouldn't budge and we struggled to put out a side/had families pi ssed off to be missing City. Saturday midday games are also a ball ache for people working Saturday mornings and school football.

Throw in shi t atmospheres, presumably reduced sales of drink and food etc, plus a lot of lost good will, and it is definitely something that clubs should think carefully about. It's noticeable how many empty seats there are at City games with early kick-offs/Sunday games.

Planning to take my son to Burnley and Leeds away towards the end of the season, but will have to wait to see what days/times the TV companies settle on... by which point trains will be eye-wateringly expensive. Booked flights up to watch Hibs v Dundee in April, and again, have had to stop up an extra night, in case they move the game to the Sunday. Absolute pain in the ar se.

Fulham FC: It's the taking part that counts

And tickets in the Riverside were £160! Think they were £80+ for kids. Man Utd at home going to general sale. Tickets in the Riverside eventually sold-out, presumably to tourists. Genius long term strategy from the club. Was a pony game too. 10th v 14th, Man Utd coming to the Cottage and playing a low block at 0-0... I hope the tourists enjoyed themselves.

Sunday night games at £160 for a seat down by the corner flag. It's almost like they hold fans in complete contempt. Seeing Infantino on the Cottage balcony with Alistair Mackintosh, our ars ehole of a CEO, and then seeing that cun t, Ratcliffe... God, I hate modern football at times.

Gotta be televised. Mark Robins has serious beef with Cifuentes following them both being at a EUFA coaching event in 2017. Apparently it got heated over the pool table and Google Translate suggested that Marti said "you smell of Quavers" to Robins. He's never let it go. I think Sky will go all in on the coverage of this with both managers offered £500K to wear GoPros for the game.

Yeah, but fair play because those tickets are only £100-£105 against Forest, and kids are a bargain at £50-£55. There's a seat near the halfway line in the Johnny Haynes which is only £81 for adults and £57 for kids. Well done, Fulham.
