Not seen this posted here but the club announced today Rod Brierley’s passing last weekend.

A brilliant man and one of the unsung heroes of the Kilpatrick / Morris era.

RIP Rod

I did a lot of trade with Rod Brierley in his business, The Lancashire Wallpaper Co, before I left for Australia. A great guy. R.I.P Rod Brieley.

Rod was always 'the quiet one in the background' but was a loyal Director and supporter for many years. He certainly contributed a great deal in his years at Dale. I shall always remember him with his raincoat folded over his arm,. A polite and thoroughly decent man.
