We'd have a poll after every 9 games then.
Tbf the manager is fcuking clueless, the manager and the players deserve all the criticism they receive.
Finally someone who talks sense. Let’s be honest everyone will come back with oh it’s his first season let him sign some players in summer. We need results now everyone around us seems to be changing manager at the right time fair enough doesn’t always work for teams but got to better than what we are watching every week.

Then complain when only 1500-2000 home fans turn up. The way stockdale plays, will have a massive effect on season ticket sales next season. Longer stockdale negative boring football stays, the harder it will be for the board to drag the stay away fans back to the crown oil arena.

Scunthorpe changed their manager how did that work out, Oldham changed manager how've their last few results gone?
Nobody likes losing especially against poor teams, reality is we may just have to settle for a bang average season of stability as boring as that is just to survive longer term.

As I said it doesn’t always work out. The majority are starting to realise Stockdale isn’t working he seemed a very good appointment giving his previous experience but he’s been found out and his stubbornness to change has cost us this season.

Yet it’s not that at all. The formation has become a fixation amongst some yet we need only look at the first couple of months of the season to see that it’s perfectly ok. The only stubbornness is perhaps not being aware that looking back to something simple is maybe all that’s required.
Get the ball forwards quickly, then get it into the box. It wasn’t anything revolutionary or spectacular in Aug/Sept, however it was something supporters were invested in.

Then we got found out, without a plan b or c we are easy to play against 99% of the time.

What has he not changed to make you believe he's "stubborn"?

More we stopped doing it. Can’t remember the last time we constantly looked forward as the first option and attempted to win corners or throw ins in the last third. That’s on the manager of course, but the plans A, B and C can come within a formation.

Let’s be honest the first couple of months of season teams are still trying to work out how each other play in games. After that we have been found out by a lot of teams the signing of downing help us out in defence it give O’Connell someone he can trust next to him but attacking we have been poor all season. Charman doesn’t seem to be getting a chance when Campbell looks disinterested at times and I don’t blame him with the poor service he gets. 8 games of football won all season is poor it’s a good job there’s 1 pub team in the league and then 2-3 teams who are worse than us.

But then we had a presence in Beesley and his non stop running making life difficult for the opposition. Nothing against Campbell, who's doing what he can, but he's not that kind of player. Maybe Charman was bought with that in mind, but for ne reason or another he hasn't panned out yet.

That’s a good point and that’s why it’s on the manager to employ what he does have within the preferred style. Would rather we struggled to get results whilst still trying to get forward quickly and into the box, instead of passing side to side to no effect.
It’s as rudimentary as winning throw ins in the last third. That is where this division is standard wise, play up the pitch, put pressure on and you’ll get some results. Orient worked that out today.
This is one of the things I was concerned about when Hill got sacked. That we risk becoming a club who has a faction of supporters who call for the manager to be sacked when the chips are down.

They have been down for a long time in terms of how we play and how we go about games especially at home. I can’t see it getting any better but I am happy to be proved wrong.

Isn't that just every club in the land?

Over the last 8 games Oldham, Scunthorpe, Barrow, Orient and Stevenage have all picked up less points than us. Colchester are level with us. There's only Carlisle of our rivals who are picking up points regularly.
