Carnage at Kendal... 17:48 - Oct 24 with 1262 viewsspudgun

Thrown out of the FA Trophy on a technicality for playing ineligible loan players.

Kendal Ultras protesting about the chairman around town with banners.

Chairman resigns this week.

20 ultras refuse to go in the ground today and make their protest from the "grassy knoll".

(The other 30-40 watched from the open terrace and took their coats off when the rain got torrential and threw them in the air.) ...

New chairman announced - the Mayor of Kendal.

Next game likely to be postponed due to Covid.

Crikey!!

Love this post - and Spell's response!

Non league rocks. Kendal have been in trouble for a few years now. I reckon they should let Mr Minty run the club. Best mascot bar (pun intended) none.

The week before last there was a non-league dog on the pitch, Jane - a lovely brown and white collie who made two dashes to the half-way line.

Also the chairman pinched the drum from the ultras at the end of the game - they had mobbed the players in the dressing room - and was banging it outside the away dressing room singing.

He then had to hide in the home changing rooms and lock the door from the irate Brighouse players, but continued to sing with the home players.

You don`t get that at Man City!...

I'm not surprised Brighouse were 'banging' with their massive 'horn' section.

Pfnarr, Pfnarr.

Outside the away dressing room and everything.

One really cool thing about non league is the stadiums.

Love them.

The towns also. Nice, and sometimes unknown, places.

The manager at Kendal now self-isolating so his pal Simon Grayson taking charge of the team for tomorrow night`s game (which is now going ahead - there was doubt)...

Grayson will no doubt bring his Midas touch along with him.
