Regardless of the result today at relegation doomed Rotherham (who have not won in 14, always a good time to play QPR), I think I'm watching Holloway on the very edge.
I watched perhaps half a dozen of Holloway interviews over the last month or so. What I see and hear is an endless rambling about 'passion', 'dying for the club' and 'transforming the culture'.
The England FA rant about 'who are ya, I mean who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, who are you, - I mean c'mon on. What on earth was all that about?
Nothing personal against Holloway. He did great last time for us, and remains popular. I just find him far far too desperate, almost incoherent in his enthusiasm.
I reckon we'll lose or perhaps draw today at Rotherham. Then what? His appointment almost smacks of 'we've tried everything else, and that hasn't worked, let's go back to an old friend who knows the club and try him...'.
Just feel increasingly uneasy that this latest experiment may end in tears.

We have to stick with him until next season or else we'll look like, and will be, actual tw@ts.
Always a sketchy appointment but he deserves a chance.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

I don't agree and I think you're either reading too much into his rants, which he's always done so no change there, or you're looking for faults with him. He talks a lot more sense now than he ever has, for example he's already identified that we lack talkers on the pitch, that we are mentally weak particularly when we go behind, he's been talking a lot about getting us into good habits from which results will be a by-product. He's using formations to get square pegs in square holes. That's all positive stuff in my opinion. He needs time to implement changes and bring in players to rectify the problems we have.
However I agree with your observation about the clubs approach to his appointment, it was the same after Redknapp when we went for the complete opposite in Ramsey, what we needed then was someone in-between, not a complete novice but also up-and-coming. We then got that in Hasselbaink but that didn't work out and was boring so now we've gone for Holloway who's the complete opposite of Hasselbaink in that respect, hopefully it'll work this time though.
Well watch his interviews. I've had neutral mates watch them and shake their heads.
He's lost it. Listen and watch him. It's just sheer desperation.
Die for this club? Oh for heaven's sake. Just go out there and make them play a little better so we can be in the Championship next season. I'd be very happy with that.
Ipswich friends of mine told me QPR are the worst side they've played in a year at Portman Road.

Then don't watch his interviews!
Or do we need to get Briatore back? Now there was a bloke who could fire managers!

Well read your posts. I've had neutral mates read them and shake their heads.
You've lost it. You're looking for faults. It's just sheer desperation.
He's had 3 games. Oh for heaven's sake. Just come on here and be a bit more positive so we don't have to read this drivel next week. I'd be very happy with that.
Norwich friends of mine told me you are the worst poster they've seen in a year on Loft for Words.
My word. What? The team is by all accounts actually playing pretty well....... we've got lots of injuries, lost some games........ hardly time to have a meltdown.

Can we pleeeeese, just score ONE goal today and make sure we don't concede again. So then we pick up a vital point from the worst performing side in the entire Football League.
Can just see the post-match interview now (if 1-1):
"AAAh well, we can build on this. Treeemendus fightback, fantastic, so much pashan from the boys blah blah blah, Rotherham is a really tough place to come too blah blah blah" - Tough? C'mon. Wake up. Easiest away game of the season this, QPR should win here 2-0 or perhaps 3-1. Minimum.
Far too many excuses. Part of the problem with this club, always laying the blame off. Meanwhile Rotherham pick up their eighth point in 20 games.
