Why on earth would a Brazilian businessman be interested in Morecambe, unless it's as a front for financial manipulation of his business interests, not too dissimilar from a nearer neighbour?

Their crowds have dropped well below 1500, can't see how that's viable on football league salaries

We should sign that M Rose, stick him at LB and try our LB up front to fill the Tom Pope hole.

Is that the only possible reason for his interest?

If football clubs keep emphasising that they are businesses, then they're going to be treated like businesses. I think 10-15 years from now there will be very few league clubs owned by British citizens.

Who are YOU with?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Trouble brewing at Morecambe

Seems my instincts about their Brazilian owner may not have been misplaced

A very wise decision, that means Adams` can`t be pursued financially if the Brazilian bloke still doesn`t stump up. Not very nice at Christmas not to be paid.

the staff at Morecambe have all been paid 50% of their wages in advance and the rest will be paid on the normal pay date of the 28th with the majority of the board (pre takeover) inc the previous majority shareholder and current chairman Peter McGuigan still involved but without Mr Lemos being involved. He is not replying to calls etc There is a hell of a lot going on in the background behind the scenes and information coming to light.

During the next week a lot will come out as the staff have been told that the FA and EFL are also investigating Mr Lemos and how he passed the "fit and proper persons test" and the evidence that he provided to them and they are assisting MFC board with advice.

With my little stick of Blackpool Rock, along the promenade I'll stroll
