I caught up with most of it and was generally very pleased. Well organised, sensible questions and answers…and I liked the video inserts. Seems churlish to moan too much. However, did I miss anything about the Development squad ( other than continuity of style and role in progressing young talent ). For example. There’s a game today…still nothing on Offy. In the past we could watch streams of games and get first hand insight on how things are working. Now a rare event. |

You beat me to it Mr Dumpty. Couldn’t agree more. That was a great game to watch which we could easily have won and it was a nice touch that Eze scored…a real pleasure to watch him and convinced we have got a significant windfall coming in due course. Add to that Alfie Lloyd ( not actually one of our own as we got him from Yeovil) who’s beginning to look far more of a prospect than Sinclair.
Martie got it spot on. Watch out Millwall. Already looking forward to the round 3 draw in the cup we haven’t won yet.

Of course results matter. Success breeds success at all levels. We have been told that all the teams will be playing using the same patterns, theories etc etc. maybe we get hammered because our youngsters have had to change their whole approach and in many case don’t have the ability to adjust to a different style ? |

It’s an interesting watch. For me needs to be taken in exactly the same way as Olympics…which I understand is the aim of the athletes and event organisers.
So Opening Ceremony…pretty tedious and baffling, so that matches the Olympics one.
Limited sport so far? Worth a watch when truly competitive…likely to be the case for the majority of sports and events.
Problem comes with the events where’s there is a massive ability range and the winner seems pretty obvious. I realise this is due to the classification system but it makes the spectacle flawed. Also the seemingly small field in some events..again hardly surprising.
But I’ve already found some inspirational stuff and some really dull stuff..so similar to the Olympics.
As for acceptable dwarf jokes?
