| Forum Reply | Žan Vipotnik and what the Swans had to go through to get his working visa at 13:38 2 Aug 2024
Don't think he is eligible for a work permit as he wouldn't gain enough points but takes slot 3 in the 4 player group that falls outside WP requirements. Ronald Eom Vipotnik As he has played for his national team then he gets one of the requirements to be eligible. |

Unreal to read! A month 2 go is enough time but the last 2 months we have got 3 in but no replacement for Yates. Coming up a month with no Wood replacement. 3 months and no replacement for Placheta. A centre half A left winger A no 10 2 x Strikers All needed in a month. Tick bloody tock. |
| Forum Reply | Another striker out ? Sory Kaba latest as time ticks on at 09:41 31 Jul 2024
This is how these idiots work. They let players go without or with little work on replacements. Look at the Siggy situation, waited until the money was in the bank at a very late stage and we were then rummaging around for Bony and 16M, I repeat...... 16M for Clucas. I think if we needed a sign Levien was still in control then the clearing of the decks with little movement then this highlights it 13 out 3 in. |

Lucky the club have told us that they have worked hard for this window for months knowing they can't compete with certain clubs. Their hard work is looking good so far......oh wait 😂 Big month not just for the team but also for the ones who talked up their work behind the scenes. |

It was said they have lists for every position required so clearly we are whittling down that list or even got to the end with no joy. The silence from Coleman is getting louder by each day....not a dicky bird from him for months! Is the panic setting in? Or are they working relentless to get it sorted? |

Certainly strange that we are coming up to 2 months now with no replacement for out top scorer/s. Starting to think we are going to replace with a loan and are just leaving it as late to save on the wages. |

Gykores went back because he and Brighton wanted more minutes than he was getting here. We would be chuffed if we signed a player the next few weeks with goal record he had in Sweden and Germany given his age at the time. Oh for a 23yr old with 27 goals in around 80 games 😭 |

Looking at it logically. Out since the end of the season. RUSHWORTH ASHBY HUMPHREYS WOOD WALSH PATINO SAGORE PLACHETA LOWE YATES PATO IN EOM-REPLACES PATINO FRANCO-REPLACES WALSH PEDERSEN-RETURN LOAN TJOE A ON-RETURN FROM LOAN We really need A centre half-2 if Pedersen moves on. Attacking Midfielder to replace Pato Left Winger to replace Placheta Striker to replace Lowe and Yates If we move on Tjoe a On and Mykolo then throw in a left back and Striker to replace. Massive 5 weeks coming up AGAIN! Expect a few loans in as the window shortens. |

A striker is a given but I agree that a no 10 is a must and has been for the last few years but seems to ignored or kidded that a certain player can do it.....Patino was the case last season. Eom seemed from the clips yesterday robust enough to give encouragement going into the season. Still feel a left winger is also needed as much as a Striker and 10. |

Hopefully! Because Marge being away has held us back a whole month in recruiting a Goalkeeper in my opinion. |

Recruitment for the U21 has been non existent this far. We normally pick up a few kids released by Premier league clubs and this was something the club were shouting about as a route they were going to continue with. |

No one is saying he is Pep but a poor manager he is not and most certainly a fraud wouldn't have got Soton promoted. Is he young and made mistakes? Most certainly a yes to both. The guys a premiership manager, you don't become one of them by luck. Issue we are seeing, ones who put him down are now trying to look for excuses now he is a premiership manager. I most certainly don't rate him as highly as one or 2 do but I think the digs and constant knocking of him from his first game in charge to today has really highlighted some bad characteristics in people. Any new rumours for new players then? |
| Forum Reply | Who will the swans sign as a centre forward? at 22:22 17 Jul 2024
Hard to give names but a Goalkeeper or Centre forward of good quality would be a welcome for sure. Amazing how quiet the club has kept their business coupled with the 2 arrivals can only be seen as a good thing. |

Piroe was porific in 2 seasons with us and we were the 6th highest scorers in his first season with us.....Grimes and Fulton were regulars in that season. Our issue in the last 3 seasons has been our defence and keeping clean sheets. I was hopeful that Duff would sort that out atleast but he struggled and now we have lost 2 centre halves in Humphreys and Wood....i would be hopeful we could get a centre half or 2 in that will help with our issue defensively. As for a striker, I hope the club have something up their sleeve but I believe Oli McBurnie would be a solid choice if there is a possibility in getting him on board. |

Daniel Alfei was also playing. Great to see Trunds giving the centre half a tough time throughout the game but also constantly giving him advice all way through aswell. Rohan Piper scored a cracking goal for Trefelin. |
| Forum Reply | Looking at what we have at 07:52 16 Jul 2024
FISHER, BROOME KEY, NAUGHTON, PARKER, TYMON, PEDERSEN, TJOE A ON DARLING CABANGO GRIMES, FRANCO, ALLEN, FULTON, ABDULLAI COOPER, RONALD, GINNELLY, GOVEA, EOM CULLEN, MYKOLO We require Goalkeeper 2 X Centre Half 1 X Winger 1 X Attacking Midfielder 1/2 X Striker. Would have put 1 x striker but know they are looking for 2. If we shift Pedersen, Tjoe a On then a left back is in the cards also. Same as Fish, if he moves on then another keeper. A lot still to be done. |
