If Guidolin was in charge we probably would've started with Gylfi on the left wing and Naughton on the right. Rangel came on yesterday because Barrow couldn't continue and we had no fit wingers, Guidolin actually chose to play full backs on the wing when he didn't have to.
I liked the fact that Bradley was listening to the advice of his coaches. Always remember under Guidolin we were playing awful and the system clearly wasn't working, Curtis walked up to Guidolin and said something but Guidolin didn't even acknowledge him. Curtis just turned to the bench and shrugged as if to say "well I tried."
I've heard from someone working at the club that Guidolin completely disregarded the club's sports scientists advise. That does not surprise me at all as we have looked very ropey in the second half against strong and weak teams alike.
I've got a good few American mates who have been playing football since a very young age and they all say football even when talking with each other. I imagine the same goes for Bob who's been in the game so long.
I'm not sure how you can say we would've stayed up under Guidolin. We've played the worst football we've seen since getting to the Premier League and even our better performances have come in periods of games rather than full 90 minutes. Although we've hard difficult fixtures we've struggled against the likes of Hull and Burnley which are among two of the worst teams in the league.
After seemingly missing out on Chadli anyone else think that Januzaj would be a good wide option? BBC reporting today that he has asked to leave after being left out of the squad. Certainly not the finished article but has plenty of potential. I would imagine would be a lot cheaper than Chadli too.
