Slightly off topic but I'd like to know why Cardiff University is the 8th biggest charity in the UK That's ahead of Oxfam and fractionally behind The National Trust.
Over £400 million income. Can anyone explain this? If it were anywhere else in the country I wouldn't believe it! |

An excellent post, but I also think the decision to field such a weakened side came more from the board than GM, and that's really worrying.
Such a lack of bravery after an historic victory against Man Utd previously. |

Keep Dyer out, Vorm out, and Michu out of the team for the rest of the season, and let's see how GM does. Would you be confident enough at this moment for that scenario?
I'll give you another alternative scenario, We win ten of our remaining matches, GM is given a 2 year contract. His man-management and tactical skills exceed all expectations next year, thereby attracting the interest of a big club like Spurs, who then sack their manager around christmas time. What does GM tell them when they declare an interest? Well, believe it or not he says ''Thanks for the interest guys, and the offer of a salary five times more than I get now, oh! and the possibility of the Champions League, but I really don't to be seen as using Swansea as a stepping stone to greater things''
Yeah right.
Not a shadow of doubt in my mind, millions of pounds poured down the drain.
Where were the shouts of Laudrup out, I didn't hear any at the Fulham game, in fact, none of the regulars I've seen at games for years were overly concerned.
All those I spoke to, thought similar to Alan Curtis's description of the season, in the Talk Sport and television inerviews he gave only a few weeks back.
If you didn't hear it, he said ''Everyone at the club feels that we've been playing reasonably well, and quite often not getting our just rewards in matches, and the demands of the Europa League and lengthy injuries to key players have cost us''
So what does the brilliant board of directors do? Just as the injured start returning to the team, without warning, they sack the manager costing the club millions of pounds. We've already seen a huge difference since Nathan Dyer returned. |

Where were the players tweets telling us how pleased they were to have new management? and could they not tell us how much more positive they are about the future. Why did the players have to be shut up?

It would be pathetic of the players if that's true, but beware, lots of rumours trying to dis ML being leaked out from the club. this could be another, like the one about their poor fitness levels LOL. We've been stronger than the opposition in the second half of almost every game this season.
Big John Hartson got it right on Football Focus Saturday ''I don't think the sacking was done for football reasons''
Most fans with a brain already worked it out, I first thought the timing of the sacking was really stupid, but if you think about it, the board were quite clever from one angle, bearing in mind we were to play the most important swans v scum game in the entire history of the clubs, motivation and passion was never going to be lacking in this match. so sacking him a few days before made it look like they'd made an immediate improvement. I think a lot of fans knew HJ had been itching to do this from the start of the season, after agentgate.
At least now HJ can tell GM what his paltry budget is for new players and there'll be no threat of resignation from the manager. |

I did say "relative chicken feed amounts" meaning that the amounts were much smaller in the Championship, than as they are now in the PL. |

I doubt anyone hates HJ he surely is 100% for our success.
I think his critics just have serious concerns about his ability to deal with people he's required to at this level. |

I think what Michu was getting at was, it was impossible for Laudrup to work as well this year as last year, because he felt welcome and needed last year, whilst this year HJ has been a constant thorn in his side, (since the agent fiasco) and wanted him gone long ago.
No-one likes the idea of dealing with agents, but HJ even had a big problem with them in the Championship, over relative chicken feed amounts, it's got personal with him.
I know his heart is with the club, but his position over players agents has been the most serious threat to our PL status. |

This is the sort of thing that in time, will stop freedom on the internet for everyone, a small turd in Swansea can say these things about someone so respected, and has achieved so much in European football.
I can see why some of our half-witted fans are backing our board on this, it's because they can relate to them, as they also have achieved very little. |
