The real story is the defeat against Norwich and the draw against Brighton.
It has knocked the stuffing out of the team.

I hate to say it but the team gave up today. And there was no excuse like an early sending off. And Arsenal didn't get out of second gear. Ralph has to take the blame.

Pack the kit, get on the coach and roll onto the next defeat. Let's keep Ralph until our next 9-0. It won't be long coming. I think we're on parody territory now. Sleep walking to relegation.

First 20 minutes wasn’t bad, the rest was awful. Once Arsenal scored, game effectively over.
Up front, Tella was lively but ineffective in front of goal - we missed Adams link up play.
We can’t get anything out of JWP this year so it seems.
Unsurprisingly we were poor in defense what with all the changes - absence of Salisu and Romeu was felt.
And what a gulf between the keepers - Ramsdale was immense, Cabellero was not. Is Lewis really not an option?
For a while in the second half we were completely at sea, no leadership on the field.
Lucky to only lose 3-0!

Started well but fell apart somewhat. Our fullbacks keep getting caught out of position and our central defenders can't mark (again). All free forwards now injured as well.

If Caballero is better than Harry Lewis what have we kept him for. What a terrible performance. Words fail me. Must be one of the most inapt displays I have witnessed since I started following Saints in 1946. It seems if our manager has know idea how to set a team and get them to play for him. Austere the goal went in they just gave up

Ralph picks about our best available team
In the first 15-20 minutes we create 5 opportunities. Tella 1, AdamA 2, JWP 2fks. No chances take.
In the next 10 minutes Arsenal create 2 chances, take both
Yeah, let's blame the manager.
Hang on, why not blame the forwards for not taking their chances and the defence for not defending?
Central defence was abysmal and the full backs were .....somewhere; but not where they should be.
Badnarek was his continuing poor self, Stephens was his consistent Championship self. Both Livramento and KWP were poor going forward and absent when it came to defending.
Midfield was Diallo trying and JWP failing.
If I said it 12 months ago I'd have cut my tongue out but Redmond was our best and only effective player.
Caballero could do nothing much more for their goals. In those situations he has no chance.
Unless he's facing our forwards!

Blame the manager for todays result..Really!
With the squad thats available what was you expecting?
I know lets sack the manager because a new manager would all of a sudden
make all these players into a champions league team.. Do me a favour!
Id be more worried if Ralph walked.
Staying above the drop zone is success, whether you like it or not thats reality..

Utter shite. No passion or desire. Dreadful, words fail me..
Couldn't defend against fresh air today. Bednarek & Stephens have proved again that they've not a central defensive partnership. Why didn't Lyanco start?
Harry Lewis must realise he's got no future at the club if a 40 yr old with 1 game in 7yrs is preferred which showed as he was nowhere near PL standard.
JWP had yet another shocker. Does he realise he's playing football & not rugby so you're allowed to pass the ball forwards - once in 90 mins is woeful. Trouble is he's Mr Undroppable. Why wasn't Smallbone given a run out. Ralph again only uses 2 subs, both enforced through injury.
Now we've only got 1 fit striker - Shane Long. God help us.
As 1 of his critics I thought Redmond was the best of a pretty poor bunch.
Time for Ralph to go before it's too late, because we're going to have to rely on 3 teams worse than us & I'm not convinced there are.

Well that worked bringing back Jack Stephens the defence was shite. At least on Wednesday we can have Lyanco and Salisu back in the centre of defence. It would be good to see Walker-Peters and Perraud to play at fullback with Livramento in midfield.

So I was expecting a loss to be honest and it came. Not sure what many people want with RH when our defense was abysmal. 1st goal, out high press was cut apart because our wingbacks didnt intercept/disrupt the passing in midfield as this type of pressing requires. The JS doesnt even stick a foot out to try for the ball as it sits perfectly for Lacazzette. The the second was a comedy of errors and the 3rd was WC fault as he got nothing of the ball, just air. RH does take the blame for playing JS over Lyanco. I think JWP needs a seat and a talking too as he is playing like crap. Again, our forwards are not offering what they are getting paid for. One of our first 5 chances goes in and then its a different ballgame. Well we need to get our heads out of our arse and find some steel for the spine for Wednesday. It's going to be a long season and we now need to think of getting any and all points for all the teams around us, as we ill not get anything of the top 6. We will be looking over our shoulder the whole season, so we better get used to it. UntiL Wednesday. COYR.

Apologies American Saint I meant to up vote you. My fat fingers hit the wrong arrow.

Bad performance but injury/suspension hit side. It's a tight table this year so small margins are going to count. Palace and Brentford now become almost 6 pointers.
