Sadly he lost me with his team selection on Saturday. He had a great chance to give the fans some hope and failed. He clearly hasn't a clue what he is doing and SR have failed yet again to find a manager to give the fans hope.

Should there also be criteria for him being or not being here. As in his choice or SR's choice that he goes as is he not on a 6 month "probation" or something? Cos let's face it, if he does go by whatever means, what will SR replace him with??

He’s appalling so let’s hope Not. I knew it would turn out like this if we sacked RM. Not only have we rubber stamped relegation we have scuppered any hope of an immediate return. He is dismantling the club and by the time he has gone it will be a Massive job to rebuild.. Should have stuck with RM 🤷♂️

martin had already rubber stamped relegation with his arrogance so lets get that out of the way, juric may be the saviour he may not but hes obviously ruffling a few feathers of martins lazy little darlings behind the scenes and in truth had no chance of turning things around with a championship squad.Personally i think he will be gone at the end of the season and danny rohl will come in thats why we renegotiated che charles loan deal.

I think this is what a lot of people are not taking into account. He is indeed having to upset a lot of people and ruffle feathers. Too many were having an easy ride under RM. Sooner or later a manager had to come in and managing a team properly, with discipline etc.
Now that has happened, results are not going to get better right away as so many of the softies ponces will be kind of on strike and sulking. Good. Get them out. Let IJ weed out the ones who wanted the two day a week training regime. Let him keep the ones who will fight to the death to win games.
This will take time. Far to early to judge IJ based on one silly game where he has clearly been experimenting. He needs time to change the whole discipline and philosophy of the club internally. After 18 months of RM running the place in a lackadaisical way, being mates and pally with them all, IJ has one hell of a job to do with mental and physical health before he gets anywhere near winning teams.

‘One silly game’
There was no need to pick the team he did last Saturday. 4 full backs, no recognised striker and our best player sat on the bench!!
Burnley reserves were there for the taking, their priority is promotion. They now have a local derby against mid table Preston for a place in the quarter finals. One game off a day at Wembley.
Last Saturday should of been a full strength team to have a cup run to at least bring something to this shitshow of a season. But then again Sport Republic showing no interest in filling the ground and getting an atmosphere with their ticket pricing.
So what do we have to look forward to now? Bournemouth Brighton Chelsea Liverpool
4 beatings.
But at least the players can have a day off on the 1st of March, FA Cup 5th Round day. They deserve a break.
Wrist slashing post over.
We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong.

Shame Lallana wasn't given the job until the end of the season. What did we have to lose? Who knows, he might have turned out to be an excellent manager (young coaches seem to be the fashion nowadays). After all, he's played under some outstanding managers and Brendan Rogers.

I agree with this post. RM had created a lazy, easy going mentality within the club, that is going to take a while to recover from. And we need to clear out the lazy, non committed players who were guaranteed games with RM in charge. It doesn't take long to destroy a club but it'll take an age to recover from it. I just hope Ivan Juric is able to restore just little bit of pride & winning mentality into what is a very, very poor squad of players. Unfortunately I don't think it will happen whilst SR own the club.
