You work on the principle that if Swansea really wants player then he must come. This is fake. The player had a lot of offers and Swansea were never his first choice. |
I think he's working on the principle that we won't pay very much for players who often then go on to be worth much more.
Moe than that, we sell players who are apparently, according to quite a few, not very good who go onto to be really quite good.
That's the nature of football though, the fans have many different opinions about players (right or wrong) and managers and owners will be wrong as often as they are right.
