No Chair 16:34 - Jul 20 with 11694 views | stantheman10 | Does anyone know why Chair isn’t in the squad for the Tottingham game? I know Field picked up a knock in Girona so that could explain his abscence but Chair is a strange one unless he’s started his community service today!

No Chair on 16:51 - Jul 22 by numptydumpty | Not sure what you are saying exactly They all my own words and thoughts I write quite a lot and probably over elaborate It's just how I write But anyone starting off a sentence "don't mean to be rude" suggests you are and you know you are too. But sorry Stainrod you far more on the level than me. Sounds like you attempting a wind up !!! If that's the case mission not accomplished !! Google translate that if you so wish !! “I don’t mean to be rude ….but I’m going to be anyway “ Top pre season trolling . Wasn’t on here much over the summer but it’s great to be back 🤣

No Chair on 15:12 - Jul 21 by Gus_iom | We are a much better team with Chair playing, period. I think if he has more trust in his teammates, he releases the ball quicker, as in the Bos/Eze era. He doesn't have to carry the team anymore |
Sorry Gus, down-arrowed by mistake due to fat fingers, so now gone all Jekyll-and-Hyde and have arrowed it both ways. Anyway, Im not a mind-reader, but the impression I got was that under Ainsworth especially he felt that he was the only one who could do almost anything going forward and that contributed. a lot to him holding the ball and maybe making some poor choices of final ball. I think that got a bit better when Marti changed the style and brought Andersen into the side - I think it would improve further if he thought we had a striker who could move for and put away crosses or through balls into the area.

British phrases to confuse foreigners: "I don't mean to be rude" = "I'm going to be rude" "With respect" = "I have no respect for you" "I'm not trying to be funny, but" = see "I' don't mean to be rude" "I hear what you say" = "You said a thing, I'm going to ignore it, don't bother saying it again."

Actually, you can see Chair in the background of the video link pic on the offy home page. He's in his training gear too so maybe he's okay.

Always enjoyed the football manager or pundit's staple introduction "No disrespect to....., but" which then apparently gives them free reign to completely and utterly disrespect them, which I have never really understood. eg "No disrespect to Luton Town, but they should not be in this league, are a tin pot club and will definitely get relegated"

Ha…. That was a great example by the pundit if it was used as they did get relegated and are a tin pot club

Or its ‘total bollôcks’ implies that it is what it is.
