Swansea City Under-21s' Nathaniel MG Cup first-round tie against Baglan Dragons will take place on Sunday, July 21 (2.30pm).
The fixture will take place at the Evans Bevan Playing Fields, the home of the JD Cymru South outfit.
The Port Talbot-based side are in their second season in the JD Cymru South, after winning the Ardal Southern play-offs at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Dragons bowed out of Nathaniel MG Cup in the first round last term, after suffering defeat to local rivals Afan Lido.
The Swans are back in the knockout competition this season, having also been handed a wildcard entry last term, enjoying a memorable run to reach the final in their inaugural participation.
Anthony Wright’s side defeated Carmarthen Town, Caerau Ely, Cardiff City Under-21s, Briton Ferry Llansawel and Cardiff Met along the way, before losing to 10-time winners The New Saints at Jenner Park.

It's good for the better kids to be involved with first team preseason when extra bodies are most needed. Worthwhile experience. Just unfortunate that it's maybe left the u21s short on the day. Not a terrible side, but two debutants (I think) in the starting 11 and very little experience on the bench.
Any two or three from a long list of missing players and maybe it's a different story. Watts, Lissah, Cotterill, Watts, Smith, Congreve, Parker, Govea, Wilson. Plenty of talent in the group. |
Have too many been released especially with the number being given run outs with the first who at the moment who seem to need players coming through.

Josh Pescatore and Ramon Rees-Siso are u18s who didn't play in the u21s last season afaik. Henia-Kamau, Tom Woodward and Harlan Perry had a few cameos under their belt. Iestyn Jones and Jacob Cook a bit more experienced but nowhere near established yet. It's what you want in the u21s but ideally they'd have played some similar sides before stepping up to grown men in a knockout competition. Dylan Thomas for them was in our u21s the best part of a decade ago, didn't make the grade as many of the current crop won't.
None of the trialists from the other day featured, all carried over from last season's squads. Whether we're short or overstuffed depends entirely on loan departures. | | | |

Swansea City Under-21s coach Anthony Wright admitted a lack of belief in the final third had cost his young side after they exited the Nathaniel MG Cup on penalties at Baglan Dragons.
Sammy Henia-Kamau, fresh off signing his first professional contract, had the Swans ahead at the 10-minute mark, heading in from Ben Lloyd’s fine assist.
But the hosts were level just three minutes later as a solo run from Dylan Thomas was finished off with a strike into the bottom corner.
There was no further score and it was Baglan who advanced to the second round as they scored all five of their spot-kicks to win the shootout 5-3, with Henia-Kamau unable to find the net for the Swans.
"First and foremost, you have to give Baglan a lot of praise. They came with a gameplan to sit off and frustrate, which they did really well," said Wright.
"We had a lot of possession, but in the moments you look for in and around the final third, we just couldn't get enough into our game to get the opportunity to score.
"There were a lot of positives throughout the game. It was such a young team playing but, in the final third, as a team, we didn't have that cutting edge."
The young Swans were without Filip Lissah, Kyrell Wilson, Richard Faakye, Dan Watts, Cameron Congreve and Joel Cotterill, who all played a crucial role in reaching the final of the Nathaniel MG Cup last term.
It meant Wright fielded a young squad consisting mainly of first and second-year scholars, with Ramon Rees-Siso and Josh Pescatore making their full debuts at under-21 level.
"We've prepared the same that we always have, we try to educate the players on what they're going to come up against. Baglan have done their best to get the facility as good as possible," added Wright.
"We didn't put water on our training pitches this week, because we knew the ball would be a bit slower compared to what we're used to. We talked about the physical element, which ultimately gave Baglan their goal.
"With the boys that are missing, they have the experience of this competition from last year, and have played against senior teams many times.
"But some of them are away with the first team, which is what we want. But it also means we give the younger players a chance at having this experience and giving them an opportunity to grow.
"I wouldn't say we came up short. There were many positive moments in the game, but those in the final third were ones we didn't take." |  |

It's the exceptional athletes that seem to go further than the exceptional footballers. The fast lads and the big lads have far more margin for error in other parts of their game. A lot of the young players I've been dead wrong about just didn't have the legs for the modern game. | | | |
